Faridupur Zilla School is a secondary school in Faridpur, the headquarters of Faridpur District, Bangladesh. In 1840, [1] the then district magistrate Edgar Ef Luther, established a school named English Seminary School. In 1851, the British Government took responsibility of the institution and named it Faridpur Zilla School.

He was awarded Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1974, Presidency Award in 1970 and Adamjee Literary Award in 1965 in the poetry category.

Under the institution there is provision of secondary education for five years at school level and higher secondary education for two years at college level. The school currently has Shah Mohammad Shahjahan Molla as its acting principal. The current president of the school is Tamanna Tasnim.
