Fariqe is possibly best known as a driver for Team PETRONAS Syntium Proton (Team PSP) in the British Touring Car Championship in 2004.
He is also known for having driven in the Asian Touring Car Championship (ATCC) (2006). He is the seasons Champion for ATCC 2007 ( Overall )
Fariqe has also competed in the Merdeka Millennium 12 Hour Endurance Race (Open Class) in 2002, 2003 and 2006 on Malaysia's Sepang International Circuit. In 2006, he led team PETRONAS to victory in Class C (Production cars below 1600cc) Other team members were Syahrizal Jamaluddin and Fauzi Othman. 2009 he came 2nd in MME driving the BMW Z4M with his teammate Masataka Yanagida & Nobuteru Taniguchi. 2010 DNF as the mechanical problem with the car. 2011 he was the first Malaysian to drive the Mercedes SLS GT3 in the world. As the result in MMER 2011 he came 3rd overall. Lead for 10 hours of the race before a mechanical problem on the front wheel. 2012 2nd overall with the Mercedes SLS GT3.
2007 he competed in the Super Taikiyu in Japan, driving his new car, the BMW Z4M with Japanese driver Masataka Yanagida. 2008 finished 2nd in the championship. 2009 1st in championship.
Fariqe is married and lives in Johor, Malaysia. [1] His personal car is a Mitsuoka Zero One. [1] Formerly, he drove an Alfa Romeo 145. He often participates in drives with ItaliaAuto Club Malaysia.

The Sepang International Circuit is a motorsport race track in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located approximately 45 km (28 mi) south of Kuala Lumpur, and close to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. It hosted the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix between 1999 and 2017, and is also the venue for the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race and other major motorsport events.

The Suzuka Summer Endurance Race is an annual motorsport event for sports cars that has been held at the Suzuka International Racing Course, Mie Prefecture, Japan since 1966, and the oldest automobile endurance race in Japan. From 1966 to 2017, the event was known as the Suzuka 1000 km, a 1000 kilometre race held as part of various championships including Super GT, the All-Japan Endurance/Sports Prototype Championship, the FIA GT Championship, the BPR Global GT Series, and the FIA World Sportscar Championship. From 2018 to 2019, it was the Suzuka 10 Hours for the Intercontinental GT Challenge. Since 2020, the race has not been held due to the COVID-19 pandemic, although a Super GT round has been held at Suzuka during the event's traditional summer time slot.

The Sepang 1000 km Endurance Race is a 1,000-kilometre (620-mile) endurance racing event held annually since 2009 at the Sepang International Circuit in December. The race was created out of the success of the 12-hour Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race, but unlike the MMER is a touring car race and is limited to cars with an engine capacity of under 1,800 cubic centimetres. Originally 1900 cc was the upper limit but this was reduced in 2011. Despite the engine power advantage of the larger-engined cars, Class 2 1,600 cc (98 cu in) cars have won two of three races held thus far.
