Farrell Spence is a Canadian Roots/Americana singer and songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. [1]
In April 2007, Spence released her first CD, A Town Called Hell. It received positive reviews from various UK, Irish and American music magazines who focus on the Americana/Bluegrass scene. In 2008 in Vancouver, Spence joined with Trish Klein and Frazey Ford of The Be Good Tanyas, Simon Kendall of Doug and The Slugs, Rob Wilson, Mark Beatty, Khari McClelland and John Raham for a series of live gospel shows titled The Sweet Sounds Gospel Show.
In June 2008, Spence moved to Cork, Ireland to write songs for a new CD, Song for the Sea. She worked with Eoghan Regan, David Murphy, and NC Lawlor. However, she did not complete the project with them. In 2008 she also participated in live gospel show together with some other musicians such as Trish Klein and Frazey Ford of "The Be Good Tanyas" to be contributed to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. In the spring of 2009, Spence and Italian guitar player and lyricist, Francesco Forni, began playing live dates in Italy, Ireland and Northern Ireland. They were then invited to an interview and live performance on BBC Radio in May 2009 after they were seen performing at The Errigle Inn in Belfast.
Spence and Forni collaborated on the recording of Spence's second album, Song for the Sea in room 501 of the Ripa Hotel in Rome, Italy. The duo were seeking an organic and natural sound. In September 2011, they released the CD recordings at live shows in Rome, Italy and at Teatro Valle and Riunione Di Condiminio.
Two of Spence's songs were licensed for Showtime's 'The Chris Isaak Show'. Her songs were heard on CBC Radio in Canada, RTÉ Radio in Ireland, BBC Radio in the UK along with college and independent radio stations and net-stations.
She currently lives in Ireland where she makes live shows as well as in Canada. [2]

Kittie is a Canadian heavy metal band from London, Ontario, founded in 1996. They were formed when guitarist Fallon Bowman and drummer Mercedes Lander met in gym class. Belly is an alternative rock band formed in Rhode Island in 1991 by former Throwing Muses and Breeders member Tanya Donelly. The original lineup consisted of Donelly on vocals and guitar, Fred Abong on bass, and brothers Tom and Chris Gorman on guitar and drums respectively. The band released two albums during the early 1990s alternative rock boom before breaking up in 1995. They reunited in 2016 and mounted limited tours in the United States and United Kingdom that year.

Tanya Donelly is an American Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter and guitarist based in New England who co-founded Throwing Muses with her step-sister Kristin Hersh. Donelly went on to co-form the alternative rock band The Breeders in 1989, before leaving to front her own band Belly in 1991. By the late 1990s, she settled into a solo recording career, working largely with musicians connected to the Boston music scene.
Po' Girl is a Canadian music group whose style derives from folk, country and jazz. The band evolved from a series of jam sessions, in 2000, between Trish Klein of The Be Good Tanyas and Allison Russell, then of Fear of Drinking. The two met up again in 2003 and named themselves Po' Girl. Klein said at the time that the new group offered her the opportunity to write and perform her own songs. Po' Girl recorded their last album in 2010, but the members' musical careers have continued to develop, either as soloists or in other bands. Once based in Vancouver, Po' Girl is now back in the Eastern cities of Toronto and Montreal. While I'm Livin' is the twenty-fifth studio album by American country music singer Tanya Tucker. It was released on August 23, 2019, by Fantasy Records. The album was produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings. It is Tucker's first album in a decade, since 2009's My Turn, and her first album of original material since her 2002 album, Tanya. The album earned Tucker the Grammy Award for Best Country Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in addition to winning Best Country Song for "Bring My Flowers Now" which was also nominated for Best Country Solo Performance, and the all-genre Grammy Award for Song of the Year. Rolling Stone placed the album at number one on the publication's list of the 40 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2019 and number 24 on their list of the top 50 Albums of 2019. Tucker promoted the album throughout 2019 with the While I'm Livin' Tour and continued to support the album in the first quarter of 2020 on the Bring My Flowers Now Tour, a partnership with CMT's Next Women of Country. The COVID-19 pandemic caused the remainder of the tour to be postponed until July 2021.
