The left-handed Watanabe has won the maiden Super 1000 tournament a total of four times, the first ever male player from Japan to win an All England Open title. First at the 2018 All England Open in the mixed doubles event partnered with Arisa Higashino, then in the 2020 All England Open in the men's doubles event with Hiroyuki Endo, and in both men's and mixed doubles in the 2021 All England Open, defending his men's doubles title with Hiroyuki Endo and winning the mixed doubles category with once again, Arisa Higashino. He won a mixed doubles bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The duo became the runner-up after defeated by the Slovenian pair in the rubber game. At the Balkan Badminton Championships, he won the bronze medal in the mixed team event. He also play for the Novi Sad badminton club, and in 2013 he won the men's and mixed doubles title at the Vojvodina Championship, and also became the runner-up in the men's singles event.
Muhammad Irfan Saeed Bhatti is a Pakistani badminton player. He competed at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. He was the men's doubles champion at the 2016 All Pakistan National ranking tournament. He also the runner-up at Pakistan International tournament in the singles and doubles events. Teamed-up with Azeem Sarwar, they won the men's doubles title at the Nepal Annapurna International Badminton Championship. He was the bronze medalists at the 2016 South Asian Games in the men's singles and team events.

Godwin Richard Olofua is a Nigerian badminton player who participated at local and international badminton competitions representing Nigeria and has won several trophies. Olofua won gold medal in the mixed team event with silver and bronze medals in singles and doubles events at the 2019 African Championships in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He also won gold during the 2019 African Games in the mixed team, a silver in the men's doubles and a bronze in the men's singles. Olofua won the men's doubles title at the 2018 Côte d'Ivoire, 2019 Benin and Cameroon International tournaments partnered with Anuoluwapo Juwon Opeyori. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
