Fausto Preysler (born 14 February 1914, died before 2007) was a Filipino sailor. He competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics and the 1964 Summer Olympics. [1]

Ercole Baldini is a retired Italian cyclist. As an amateur he won an Olympic gold medal in the road race and the world title in the individual pursuit on track, both in 1956. Next year he turned professional, and in 1958 won the world title in the road race and the Giro d'Italia. He continued competing on track and won bronze medals in the individual pursuit at the world championships of 1960 and 1964.
Water polo has been part of the Summer Olympics program since the second games, in 1900. A women's water polo tournament was introduced for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Hungary has been the most successful country in men's tournament, while the United States is the only team to win multiple times at the women's tournament since its introduction. Italy is the first and only country to win both the men's and women's water polo tournaments.
Fausto Alesio Acke, was an Italian-born Swedish gymnast and discus thrower. Born in Rome he was adopted in 1903 by family friends, after his parents died during an epidemic. His adoptive parents were the Swedish Impressionist painter J. A. G. Acke and Eva Acke, the daughter of the Finnish-Swedish author Zacharias Topelius. At the 1920 Summer Olympics, he was part of the Swedish team that won the gold medal in the Swedish system event. He later moved to the Hollywood, where he worked in the movie industry and died aged 69.

Fausto Radici was an Italian former alpine skier who competed in the 1976 Winter Olympics. He finished 7th in the slalom race at the 1976 Winter Olympics. He was an Italian Champion in slalom in 1974. In the World Cup he won two slalom races: 5 January 1976 at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and 19 December 1976, at Madonna di Campiglio. He was married to alpine ski racer Elena Matous. On 14 April 2002, he committed suicide by shooting himself in a woodshed in Peia.
