Fawnie Nose (1933 m / 6342 ft, prominence 872 m) [1] is the highest summit of the Fawnie Range of the Nechako Plateau in the Central Interior of British Columbia, Canada. The range is located north of the West Road River and to the south of the Natalkuz Lake portion of the Ootsa Lake reservoir. [2]
De Beque Canyon is a narrow canyon on the Colorado River in western Colorado in the United States. It is approximately 15 miles (24 km) long, located on the river downstream from the town of De Beque, in eastern Mesa County. The canyon forms a narrow passage where the river passes along the western end of the Grand Mesa. At its lower end, the canyon opens out on the eastern end of the Grand Valley at the town of Palisade, approximately 10 miles (16 km) east of Grand Junction. Interstate 70 follows the river through the canyon.
François Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located at the east end of Francois Lake. The total park area is 7,214 hectares. It is about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) off BC Highway 16, southwest of the town of Fraser Lake. There is no potable water at the site so campers should bring their own.

Stillhouse Hollow Falls State Natural Area, located in Summertown, is a natural area in Maury County, Tennessee. The main feature of the area is Stillhouse Hollow Falls, a 75-foot (23 m) waterfall, which is located approximately two-thirds of a mile from the entrance. The natural area was acquired by the Tennessee Parks and Greenways Foundation (TPGF) and was later sold to the state of Tennessee. It was designated a natural area on June 3, 2006, under the Natural Areas Preservation Act of 1971.

Horseshoe Lake is a 2,007 acres (812 ha) natural oxbow lake in Alexander County, Illinois. It is the site of Illinois's Horseshoe Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area, a state park 10,645 acres (43 km2) in size. It has a 20 miles (32 km) shoreline and a depth of 4 ft (1.2 m), with a maximum depth of 5–6 feet (1.5–1.8 m). A remnant of a large meander of the Mississippi River, it is today a shallow, isolated patch of water located near Cairo and the southern tip of Illinois. In 1972, the Horseshoe Lake Nature Preserve was designated as a National Natural Landmark by the National Park Service.

The northwest part of the park is within Entiako Provincial Park and includes Mount Swannell,, one of the range's main summits, overlooking Natalkuz Lake from the south. Other named summits include Tutial Mountain, Fawnie Dome and Fawnie Nose, the highest summit in the range.
