Feleti Fakaongo (born 16 August 1970 in Vava'u) is a Tongan former rugby union player. He played as lock and flanker.
His first cap for Tonga was against Scotland, at Nuku'alofa, on 5 June 1993. He was also part of the 1995 Rugby World Cup squad, playing only against Ivory Coast in the tournament. His last international cap was against Samoa, at Nuku'alofa, on 15 June 2002. At club level he played for King Country and North Harbour in the National Provincial Championship in New Zealand, [2] as well for FC Grenoble, [3] Bordeaux-Begles [4] Oyonnax Rugby [5] RC Chalon [6] and ROC La Voulte-Valence [7] in France.
Union Bordeaux Bègles is a French professional rugby union team playing in the Top 14, the first level of the country's professional league system. They earned their Top 14 place by winning the promotion playoffs that followed the 2010–11 season in the second-level Pro D2. Upon promotion to the Top 14 in 2011, they were assured a place in the European Challenge Cup. In 2015, they earned their European Champions Cup place, after winning the European playoffs against Gloucester Rugby in Worcester.
