The Fenster School of Southern Arizona is a school located in Catalina Foothills, Arizona, United States. Its college-preparatory curriculum offers students an opportunity to take courses for high school as well as towards college credit. Fenster School offers boarding and day student programs.

The school closed in 2016 and the campus is now home to Sabino Recovery Integrative Health and Wellness. [1]

The Fenster school was accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Canyon del Oro High School (CDO) is a comprehensive public high school in Oro Valley, Arizona, located 6 miles (9.7 km) north of Tucson at the base of Pusch Ridge. Established in 1964, CDO is one of three high schools of Amphitheater Public Schools and serves about 1,600 students in grades 9–12. The school name originates from the remote Canyon del Oro in the Santa Catalina Mountains north of Tucson, and the historic name of nearby Steam Pump Ranch on the National Register of Historic Places. The school mascot is the Dorado, a mythical Latin American warrior. The school colors are forest green and gold.

Palo Verde High Magnet School is located at 1302 South Avenida Vega in Terra Del Sol, Tucson, Arizona. The school has been open since 1962. Its current principal is Eric Brock. The school's name comes from the surrounding Palo Verde trees, native to Tucson. Its mascot is the Titan and the school colors are royal blue and gold. Palo Verde is also a magnet school specializing in engineering and technology. There are currently 1,250 students attending Palo Verde from grades 9–12.

Southern Arizona Community Academy (SACA) is a charter high school located in Tucson, Arizona. It opened in the 1999–2000 school year. SACA's enrollment is between 180 and 240 students. Students may earn a high school diploma through an accelerated, career-focused program. SACA was chartered by the Arizona State Charter School Board in May 1999 as a public school. Further, SACA earned approval from the State to expand as an Online High School in 2014. The school's mission is to prepare mature students academically as well as emotionally, with strength and fundamentals to carry with them their entire lives through.

Edge High School is a public alternative high school in Tucson, Arizona, operated by The Edge School, Inc. It operates two campuses in the Tucson area. Edge Himmel Park opened in 1985 and is named after the nearby city park. It is the largest campus and home to the administrative offices. Edge Northwest opened 2004. With 172 students in grades 9-12, Edge Himmel Park has an 18 to 1 student-teacher ratio.

The Catalina Foothills Unified School District #16 is the PreK-12 school district for the Catalina Foothills area of Tucson, Arizona. The district educates over 5000 students who live throughout the greater Tucson metro area. Mary Kamerzell, Ph.D., has served as superintendent since 1996.

Molino Canyon is a steep-sided, boulder-strewn canyon in the Santa Catalina Mountains northeast of Tucson, Arizona, next to the Molino Basin Campground. The canyon is located within the Coronado National Forest, and encompasses a wide variety of flora and fauna, ranging from lush pine forest in the canyon's upper reaches to Sonoran Desert cactus forest in the lower reaches. Catalina Highway was cut into the western side of the lower part of the canyon.

The Tucson Arizona Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Catalina Foothills, Arizona, just north of Tucson. The intent to construct the temple was announced by church president Thomas S. Monson on October 6, 2012, during the church's semi-annual general conference. The temple is 38,216 square feet (3,550.4 m2) and is located on a 7.4-acre (3.0 ha) site.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">The 3000 Club</span> Phoenix-based charity

The 3000 Club started as a Phoenix-based charity which works with food banks in Arizona in order to reduce food waste. The 3000 Club's main program is known as Market on the Move, although the organization provides other services for Arizona communities. Their previous mission statement "Providing life saving fresh fruits and vegetables to impoverished families" has been changed to "nothing useful should end up in a landfill."

Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort is a hotel in Catalina Foothills, near Tucson, Arizona. It began in 1929 as a private boarding school for girls. It was converted into a guest ranch after World War II.
