Ferdous Wahid is a retired Bangladeshi pop singer and film director. He made his directorial debut with the Bangladeshi film Kusumpurer Golpo (The Story of Kusumpur).

Career

Wahid started his career in the 1970s. [1] His son Habib Wahid became a pop singer of the country too. [2] Some of his hit songs while starting his career were composed by Anis Z. Chowdhury, Lucky Akhand and Alam Khan. [3]

Wahid retired from music industry in 2020. [4]

His brother, Captain Mustafa Jaglul Wahid, was married to Anju Kapoor - the sister of Indian film producer Dhiraj Vinod Kapoor. [5]

The film soundtrack is composed by Habib Wahid, Fuad al Muqtadir and Pritam Hasan. It was released on June 26, 2017 on the occasion on Eid al-Fitr in Bangladesh.

Taneem Rahman Angshu is a National Award winning Bangladeshi film director, screenwriter, editor and CGI Artist who largely works in Bengali Films and TV productions. His first feature film Shopner Ghor (2018), was a horror film which had critical success. He won the Best Director (Bangladesh) for Shopner Ghor at 18th Telecine Award in Kolkata, India. Kusumpurer Golpo is a 2014 Bangladeshi romantic drama film. The film produced and directed by Ferdous Wahid. It feature himself, Palash, Jasmine and Moumita in the lead roles. And Shirin Alam, Anis Chowdhury, Kazi Raju and Badol have played supporting roles in the film.

Pritom Hasan is a Bangladeshi actor, model, music director, and singer. He is known for producing, singing, and directing songs, as well as starring in music videos. He also has featured in films and shows. He has worked in the soundtrack department for several films, such as Debi, Mission Extreme, and Operation Sundarbans.
