Fernando Dalla Fontana (born 10 April 1958) is an Argentine former professional tennis player. He is known by his nickname "Dalla" [1]
Born and raised in Santa Fe, Dalla Fontana was a 1976 French Open junior semi-finalist and won a Galea Cup with the national team in 1977. [2]
Dalla Fontana featured in two Davis Cup ties for Argentina, debuting as an 18-year old. Both of his two career ties were against Ecuador and he had singles wins over Miguel Olvera and Raúl Viver.
On the professional circuit he reached a best singles world ranking of 134, with a main draw appearance at the 1981 French Open and three Grand Prix quarter-finals amongst his achievements.

Fernando Francisco González Ciuffardi is a Chilean former professional tennis player. During his career he made it to at least the quarterfinals of all four Grand Slam tournaments. He played his only major final at the 2007 Australian Open, losing to top-seeded Roger Federer. He is the fourth man in history to have won an Olympic tennis medal in every color, with gold in doubles and bronze in singles from Athens 2004, and silver in singles from Beijing 2008. The gold medal González won together with Nicolás Massú at the 2004 Olympics in men's doubles was Chile's first-ever Olympic gold medal.
David Pablo Nalbandian is an Argentine retired professional tennis player who played on the ATP Tour from 2000 until his retirement in 2013. He reached the highest ranking in singles of world No. 3 in March 2006. Nalbandian was runner-up in the singles event at the 2002 Wimbledon Championships. During his career, he won 11 singles titles, including the Tennis Masters Cup in 2005 and two Masters 1000 tournaments. Nalbandian is the only male Argentine player in history who ever reached the semifinals or better at all four Grand Slam tournaments and reached the men's singles final at Wimbledon.
Nicolás Alejandro Massú Fried, nicknamed El Vampiro, is a Chilean former professional tennis player. A former world No. 9 in singles, he won the singles and doubles gold medals at the 2004 Athens Olympics. He is the only man to have won both gold medals at the same Games since the re-introduction of Olympic tennis in 1988, and they are Chile's only two Olympic gold medals. Massú also reached the final of the 2003 Madrid Masters and won six singles titles. He is presently the coach of 2020 US Open champion and former world No. 3 Dominic Thiem.

For the Masters series events the ATP introduced a shot clock. Players had a minute to come on court, 5 minutes to warmup, and then a minute to commence play, as well as 25 seconds between points.
