Ffion Alys Morgan (born 11 May 2000) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a defender and forward [1] for Women's Championship club Bristol City and the Wales national team. She began her career with Cardiff City Ladies, before joining Coventry United in 2019. She made her international debut for Wales in 2017.
Morgan attended Ysgol Tre-Gib in Llandeilo as a teenager. [2]
Morgan began playing football at the age of four for local youth side Saron Juniors. At the age of 11, she joined Ammanford Girls. Morgan later signed for Cardiff City but missed the 2017–18 campaign after suffering a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury while on international duty for Wales under-19s. [3] [4] In September 2019, she joined FA Women's Championship side Coventry United. [5] In July 2020, she signed for Crystal Palace. [6]
Morgan has been capped for the Wales national team, appearing for the team during the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying cycle. [7] She made her debut for the senior squad against Netherlands [8] in 2017. [3]
Morgan is bilingual, able to speak both Welsh and English. Alongside playing football, she also holds a UEFA B Licence in coaching. [2]
Morgan is in a relationship with fellow women's footballer and former Crystal Palace teammate, now Newcastle United player Lia Cataldo. [9] [10]

Bristol City
Peter Michael Whittingham was an English professional footballer. His primary position was as a central midfielder, although he also sometimes operated as a wide midfielder on both the left and right.
Bristol City Women's Football Club is a women's association football team from the city of Bristol. Formed in 1998 as Bristol Rovers W.F.C., they were renamed Bristol Academy W.F.C. in 2005 following the withdraw of support from Bristol Rovers and increased involvement and academy development from Bristol Academy of Sport, part of South Gloucestershire and Stroud College. A second change of name, this time to Bristol City was approved by the FA Women's Football Board in time for the 2016 WSL season. With their home games relocating from SGS College's Stoke Gifford Stadium to the Robins High Performance Centre and now Ashton Gate Stadium. Bristol City Women won promotion to the FA Women's Super League (WSL), the highest level of the women's game in England in 2016 and stayed there for five seasons before being relegated to the FA Women's Championship in 2021.
