Virgin is a Polish pop rock band created in 2000 that officially disbanded in 2007. They temporarily reunited in 2014, and permanently in 2016. Its lead singer is Dorota Rabczewska.

The song is about jailed man, who demands to have his own "piece of the floor", which is an allegory to people fighting for their freedom under the communist regime of the Polish People's Republic in the 1980s.
