The men's ice hockey tournament at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, was the 17th Olympic Championship. The games were played at the Méribel Ice Palace in Méribel, about 45 km from host city Albertville. The competition, held from 8 to 23 February, was won by the Unified Team in its only appearance. The team was composed of some newly emerged nations from the former Soviet Union, which had dissolved just weeks before the Games began. 2017 Mens Pan American Cup (field hockey)

The 2017 Men's Pan American Cup was the fifth edition of the Men's Pan American Cup, the quadrennial men's international field hockey championship of the Americas organized by the Pan American Hockey Federation. It was held between 4 and 12 August 2017 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States, simultaneously with the women's tournament.

The 2018 Pan American Youth Olympic Games Qualifier for girls' field hockey, also known as 2018 Youth Pan American Championship was the third edition of the Youth Pan American Championship, an international field hockey competition held from 12 – 17 March 2018 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Field hockey competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru are scheduled to be held from July 30 to August 10. The venue for the competition is the Hockey field located at the Villa María del Triunfo cluster. A total of eight men's and eight women's teams competed in each tournament. This means a total of 256 athletes are scheduled to compete.

The men's field hockey tournament at the 2003 Pan American Games was held between 2–13 August 2003 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The tournament doubled as the qualification to the 2004 Summer Olympics to be held in Athens, Greece.
