Fingerpointing is a remix album by the experimental rock band Red Krayola, released on July 22, 2008, by Drag City. It is a remix of the album Fingerpainting , with Jim O'Rourke responsible for the new mix. [1] [5]

Critical reception

Exclaim! praised O'Rourke's "striking use of space," writing that the producer "puts [Mayo] Thompson's voice and guitar low in the mix and lets a sparse array of skittering beats and synths carry the album." [6]

Jim O'Rourke is an American musician and record producer. He was long associated with the Chicago experimental and improv scene. Around 2000, he relocated to New York City before moving to Japan, where he currently resides. Mayo Thompson is an American musician and visual artist best known as the leader of the avant-garde rock band Red Krayola.

Elisa Randazzo is an American musician, songwriter and fashion designer who is based in California. Although her contributions as a songwriter, singer and violinist have spanned many musical projects, Bruises and Butterflies is her first solo release. It debuted on the Drag City label on May 18, 2010. Two songs on this LP are a result of her collaboration with the influential, 1970s British folk singer/guitarist, Bridget St John. Randazzo is known for layered harmonies and string arrangements.
