Finlay Allan (born 6 November 2001) is a Scottish international judoka. He has represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games and won a silver medal. [1] [2]
Allan based at Camberley Judo Club finished in 7th place at 2021 Junior European Cup. [3]
In 2022, he was selected for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, where he competed in the men's -66 kg category, winning the silver medal. [1] [3] [4]
Scotland is one of only six countries to have competed in every Commonwealth Games since the first Empire Games in 1930. The others are Australia, Canada, England, New Zealand and Wales. The Commonwealth Games is the only major multi-sport event in which Scottish athletes and teams compete as Scotland; otherwise Scotland participates in multi-sport events as part of a Great Britain team.

Duncan William MacNaughton Scott is a Scottish swimmer representing Great Britain at the FINA World Aquatics Championships, LEN European Aquatics Championships, European Games and the Olympic Games, and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games. Scott made history after winning four medals - more than any other British athlete at a single Olympic Games - in Tokyo 2020, simultaneously becoming Great Britain's most decorated swimmer in Olympic history. With an additional gold and silver medal in Paris 2024 bringing his total to eight, Scott became Scotland's most-decorated Olympian, and is currently tied with Bradley Wiggins as the second most-decorated Olympian in British history.
