First Baptist Church is an Evangelical Protestant church located in Ukiah, California. First Baptist is part of the American Baptist denomination. Founded nearly 150 years ago in 1859, [1] the church has had three major upgrades of their facilities.
Senior pastor Kevin Wood is originally from Eureka, California although spent most of his adult life in the Bay Area. He earned his Th.M. from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
First Baptist Church of Ukiah's youth gather weekly on Sunday mornings from 9:40 to 10:40, during the church's first Sunday morning service. Additionally, the youth gather on Wednesday evenings from 6:40 to 8:30 in a group called "TRUTH", which meets above New Life Preschool in a room called, "The LOFT". It is located on the north end of First Baptist Church's gymnasium. The church offices are across the street in an old Victorian home. All youth are welcome to these meetings, regardless of religious affiliation.

Bellevue is the largest church in Memphis and is one of the leading churches in the Southern Baptist Convention. Bellevue's goals are to "Love God, Love People, Share Jesus, and Make Disciples." The church's head pastor has been Steve Gaines since 2005.
First Baptist Church of Minneapolis, Minnesota was founded in 1853 at Saint Anthony Falls. E.W. Cressey, a missionary with the American Baptist Home Missionary Society, together with members of First Baptist Church of Saint Paul and St. Anthony gathered on March 5, 1853 and committed themselves to organizing a "Regular Baptist Church," the first Church organized in Minnesota Territory west of the Mississippi River.
The First Baptist Church of Hammond is a fundamental Independent Baptist church in Hammond, Indiana. It is the largest church in the state of Indiana, and in 2007 was the 20th largest in the United States. Though founded in 1887 by Allen Hill, it was under Jack Hyles' leadership from 1959–2001 when it became one of the megachurches in the United States and during the 1970s had the highest Sunday school attendance of any church in the world. John Steven Gaines is an American Southern Baptist pastor, and the 61st President of the Southern Baptist Convention. He is currently serving at Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, one of the largest congregations in the Southern Baptist Convention. On Sunday, July 10, 2005 the Pastor Search Committee of Bellevue Baptist Church presented Dr. Steve Gaines to the church congregation. At the conclusion of the services the Bellevue family overwhelmingly voted to call Steve Gaines as the seventh Pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church. Gaines succeeds the longtime Bellevue pastor Adrian Rogers.
