The first lady of Lagos State is the advisor to the Lagos State governor, and often plays a role in social activism. The position is traditionally held by the wife of the Lagos State governor, concurrent with his term of office, [1] although the Constitution of Nigeria does not recognize the office of the first lady. [2]

The current first lady is Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.

She was the first lady of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 when her husband was governor. She was the senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District at the Nigerian National Assembly from 2011 to 2023. She is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) political party.

Kofoworola Bucknor representing Lagos Central, Bola Tinubu representing Lagos West and Anthony Adefuye representing Lagos East all won on the platform of the Social Democratic Party.

Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu is the first lady of Lagos State in Nigeria, as the spouse of the governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
