The several branches of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are represented by flags. Within the Iranian military, various flags fly on various occasions, and on various ships, bases, camps, and military academies.

The Armed Forces of Iran are organized into three major forces: Army (or Artesh), IRGC (Sepah) and Police (NAJA). Each of these forces have their own military branches and every branch has its own flags.

If carried on parade by colour guards, they are placed beside the Flag of Iran, which serves as the national color.

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has five major branches: Ground Force, Aerospace Force, Navy, Quds Force and Basij. Every one of these branches have their own standard and de facto versions of flag.

In addition, there are flags on logos that are based on the IRGC used by various Arab armed militia groups supported by Iran such as Hezbollah (Lebanon), Popular Mobilization Forces (Iraq), Sabireen Movement (Gaza Strip) and so on.

The Intelligence Protection Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is an Iranian intelligence agency within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and part of Council for Intelligence Coordination.

According to Article 9 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran, the Order of Merit and Management is awarded to people who achieve "an exceptional success in management, distinguished activities, aiding the oppressed and deprived people and/or beneficiary use of utilities and/or offering exquisite ways".

Order of Courage or Bravery is an Iranian state general order established by "The Council of Iran Ministers" on November 21, 1990. The order has three classes. According to Article 14 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran, the Order of Courage awarded by President of Iran to recognize "courage, a high class characteristic of human in achieving distinguished success" in one of the following:

  1. Volunteer to accomplish a difficult task which is critical for the country
  2. Accepting a serious state mission or a social duty that is accompanied by potential threats
  3. Opportune use of physical power and skills to reach a high goal
<span class="mw-page-title-main">Conscription in Iran</span> Military conscription in the Islamic Republic of Iran

All young men who reach the age of 18 must spend about two years of compulsory military service in the Iranian army or the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Often, the General staff of the armed forces of Iran chooses where people will serve, and a person cannot choose where to serve. The length of conscription is between 18 months to 2 years.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kioumars Heydari</span> Iranian general

Kioumars Heydari is an Iranian general. As of 2022, he is Commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces.

Mohammad Doroudian is an Iranian writer, historian, researcher and theorist. Doroudian was born on 1959 in Tehran, and actively writes about the history of the Iran-Iraq War. He holds a BA in History from Shahid Beheshti University. More than seventeen books have been published by Mohammad Doroudian so far. He is one of the elect of the 31st Iran's Book of the Year Awards and the winner of the 8th Holy Defense Year Book Award.

Parastu-14, is an Iranian trainer aircraft developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force and produced by HESA. The Parastu-14 entered service with the IRIAF after passing preliminary tests.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Vahid Rahbani</span> Iranian actor (born 1979)

Vahid Rahbani is an Iranian actor, director, playwright and translator. He is best known for his role as Mohammad in Gando (2019–2021). He earned two Crystal Simorgh nominations for his performances in Expediency (2021) and My Name Is Love (2023).

Amir Al-Momenin University of Military Sciences and Technology is the biggest IRGC staff military college for ground forces officers based in Isfahan. This academy has hosted international armed forces games matches. It was established in 2006.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Qaem 100</span> Iranian satellite expendable launch vehicle

Qaem 100 is an Iranian expendable, small-lift, space launch vehicle developed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). It was unveiled on 5 November 2022 and is the first rocket of the Qaem family. After a successful suborbital test flight in 2022, the rocket performed its orbital maiden flight in 2023 carrying the Nahid telecommunication satellite but failed to put it in orbit. In the next launch in 2024, it succeeded in putting the Soraya satellite into 750km orbit, breaking Iran's previous altitude record.

Bahman Reyhani is an Iranian commander. On June 20, 2014, he was appointed as the commander of the Kermanshah Nebi Akram Corps, a Kurdish force in the IRGC located in Kermanshah province, based on the order of Mohammad Ali Jafari, the commander of the IRGC at the time, in a ceremony attended by Hossein Salami, the deputy commander of the IRGC at the time. Reyhani has played a decisive role in helping the victims of the 2018 Sarpol-e Zahab earthquake. Bahman Reyhani was included in the sanctions list of the European Union on December 21, 2022, due to gross violations of human rights in Iran.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kurdistan Beit-ol-Moqaddas Corps</span> Unit under the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps

Kurdistan Beit-ol-Moqaddas Corps is a military unit under Basij and IRGC. Their headquarters is located in Sanandaj, and they are the largest and in charge of controlling all IRGC Corps and Basij units in Kurdistan province.

Kermanshah Nabi Akram Corps is a military unit under IRGC and Basij. Their headquarters are located in Kermanshah, and they are the main unit in Kermanshah and are responsible for commanding all Corps and Basij units located in Kermanshah province.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Cyber Security Command is a command of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps responsible for cyber warfare and cyber security. It was founded in 2006(1386), its command was established in 2015(1393).
