Fletcher DeLancey is an American science fiction writer, best known for her Chronicles of Alsea series, which has twice made her a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. [1] [2] [3]

Personal life

Though DeLancey grew up in Oregon, [4] she later moved to Algarve with her wife and their son. [4]

Career

Before focusing on her writing, DeLancey taught science [4] and worked in a marine biology lab. [5]

After moving to Algarve, DeLancey began teaching pilates alongside her writing. [5]
