The Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Romance is an annual literary award, presented by the Lambda Literary Foundation, to a novel, novella, or short story collection "by a single author that focus on a central love relationship between two or more characters", not including anthologies. [1] The submission guidelines mention several sub-genres are included, " including traditional, historical, gothic, Regency, and paranormal romance". [1]

He's won the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Mystery thrice and has been a finalist for the award six times. He's also been a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Romance twice and placed second for the Rainbow Award for Gay Romantic Comedy in 2016.
