Strait Out of the Box is the first box set album by American country music artist George Strait. It contains four albums' worth of music, dating from 1976 to 1995. It mainly consists of Strait's singles, except for a select few that he decided to exclude. They were replaced by his choice of album cuts and several studio outtakes. It also contains his three singles recorded in the 1970s for indie label D Records, one of which, "I Just Can't Go on Dying Like This", was re-recorded for Strait's 2013 album Love Is Everything.

The album produced four singles: the title track, "If the World Had a Front Porch", "Texas Tornado", and "As Any Fool Can See". "Hillbilly with a Heartache", a duet with John Anderson, can also be found on Anderson's 1994 album Country 'til I Die. "I Got a Feelin'" was co-written by Joe Diffie, who would later record it for his 1997 album Twice Upon a Time.

"A Thousand Times a Day" and the title track both made Top 20 hitting number 13 and 15 respectively.

It also includes four new recordings: the singles "Like the Rain" and "Half Way Up", as well as "Cadillac Jack Favor" and a live cover of the Eagles' "Desperado". Black had originally covered this song in 1993 for the album, Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles.
Then & Now: The Hits Collection is the second compilation album by American country music artist Tracy Lawrence. It is composed several hits from his previous albums, as well as the newly recorded tracks "Used to the Pain" and "If I Don't Make It Back". Both of these were released as singles, peaking at numbers 35 and 42, respectively, on the country charts.

"Paint Me a Birmingham" was also recorded in 2003 by Ken Mellons on his album Sweet, from which it was released as a single shortly before Lawrence's rendition.

The title track spent three weeks at Number One on the Billboard country charts in 1996, becoming Lawrence's biggest chart hit to date. The Coast Is Clear is the fifth studio album by American country music artist Tracy Lawrence. It was released on March 18, 1997 by Atlantic Records. It produced five singles: "How a Cowgirl Says Goodbye", "Better Man, Better Off", "The Coast Is Clear", "One Step Ahead of the Storm" and "While You Sleep". Though the first two singles charted at #2 and #4 on the country chart, respectively, the title track was the first single of Lawrence's career to fall short of the Top Ten. "While You Sleep" missed the Top 40 entirely, and "One Step Ahead of the Storm" failed to chart at all. Lawrence did not release another studio album until Lessons Learned, in 2000.

His first album of Christmas music, it features the song "'Til Santa's Gone ". This song charted on several occasions on the Hot Country Songs charts, reaching as high as #34 based on Christmas airplay.
The Very Best of Tracy Lawrence is a 2007 compilation album by country music artist Tracy Lawrence. It is his third greatest-hits album. This compilation comprises 21 of his top ten singles, arranged in chronological order, from his 1991 debut "Sticks and Stones" to 2003's "Paint Me a Birmingham". Of the songs on this album, only the 1994 single "Renegades, Rebels and Rogues" was not previously included on one of Lawrence's studio releases. The album has sold 348,900 copies in the United States as of April 2017.

Michael Aubrey Walker is an American country music artist. In 2000 he was signed by DreamWorks Nashville and in 2001, he released his self-titled debut album. This album produced his only chart single in "Honey Do", which peaked at number 42 on the Billboard country charts. He also toured with Brooks & Dunn on the first annual "Neon Circus Tour" which also featured Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Keith Urban and Cledus T. Judd after the release of his album, although its second through fifth singles all failed to chart. Included on the album were covers of Rodney Crowell's 1990 single "What Kind of Love", Billy "Crash" Craddock's 1974 single "Rub It In", and T. Graham Brown's 1999 single "Memphis Women and Chicken". Gary Allan also recorded the song "See If I Care" on his album of the same name, and "Honey Do" was originally recorded by Keith Harling on his 1999 album Bring It On.

The album's first single release is "The Call," which was released in November 2009 and peaked at number 33 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. "You Can Still Wear White" and "Too Loud" were also released as singles, though both failed to chart.
