The Fordham Rams men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Fordham University in The Bronx, New York, United States. [2] The team is a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. Fordham's first men's soccer team was fielded in 1952. The team plays its home games at Coffey Field in The Bronx, New York. The Rams are coached by Carlo Acquista.
Fordham University has only kept statistics from the 1985 season onward on file, although the program began in 1952.

Fordham's biggest rivals are St. John's and Manhattan. Fordham's rivalry with St. John's goes back to the 1970s, [8] and their rivalry with Manhattan is known as the Battle of the Bronx. [9]
The Patriot League is a collegiate athletic conference comprising private institutions of higher education and two United States service academies based in the Northeastern United States. Except for the Ivy League, it is the most selective group of higher education institutions in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I and has a very high student-athlete graduation rate for both the NCAA graduation success rate and the federal graduation rate.
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Its current 13 full members are located in five Northeastern states: Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York.
The Fordham Rams are the varsity sports teams for Fordham University. Their colors are maroon and white. The Fordham Rams are members of NCAA Division I and compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference for most sports. In football, the Rams play in the Patriot League of NCAA Division 1 Football Championship Subdivision. The University also supports a number of club sports, and a significant intramural sports program. The University's athletic booster clubs include the Sixth Man Club for basketball and the Afterguard for sailing.
The Loyola Greyhounds men's basketball team represents Loyola University Maryland in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I competition. It became a member of the Patriot League along with the university's other intercollegiate athletic programs on July 1, 2013. Home games are played at Reitz Arena. Loyola has appeared twice in the NCAA Tournament, most recently in 2012.
The Manhattan Jaspers are composed of 19 teams representing Manhattan University in intercollegiate athletics. The Jaspers compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
The St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers were the 21 teams that represented St. Francis College in athletics. The Terriers were members of NCAA Division I and participated in the Northeast Conference (NEC) except in two sports that the NEC does not sponsor—men's and women's water polo. The water polo teams respectively competed in the Collegiate Water Polo Association and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
The Jacksonville Dolphins are the intercollegiate athletics teams that represent Jacksonville University, located in Jacksonville, Florida. The Dolphins participate in NCAA Division I athletics, and are primarily members of the ASUN Conference. Some teams in sports that are not sponsored by the ASUN play in other conferences; specifically, the men's and women's rowing teams are in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The men's lacrosse team had played in the Southern Conference (SoCon) from 2015 to 2022, but that sport will return to the ASUN for the 2023 season.
The Loyola Greyhounds are the athletic teams that represent Loyola University Maryland. The teams include men and women's basketball, cross country, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, swimming & diving, and tennis. Men's sports also include golf, while women's sports also include track and field and volleyball. The Greyhounds compete in NCAA Division I and have been a member of the Patriot League for all sports since July 1, 2013.
The VCU Rams men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Virginia Commonwealth University, an NCAA Division I member school located in the state's capital of Richmond. The team is a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference.
The Manhattan Jaspers men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents Manhattan University in The Bronx, New York City, New York, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They have won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament championship five times. The Jaspers have had three players named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Year, most recently Luis Flores in 2003. Luis Flores is also the Manhattan Jaspers all-time leading scorer with 2046 points from 2001-2004. Their current head coach is John Gallagher, who was hired from the University of Hartford in March of 2023.
The West Virginia Mountaineers men's soccer team is the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I soccer team of West Virginia University (WVU). Beginning with the 2012 season, the team was an affiliate member of the Mid-American Conference because WVU is the only school in its primary conference, the Big 12 Conference, that has a varsity men's soccer team. For the 2022 season, West Virginia joined in-state rival Marshall in the Sun Belt Conference, and the Mountain State Derby will become an annual conference game. WVU had been scheduled to leave the MAC for Conference USA but this plan was changed when Marshall changed conferences from CUSA to the SBC.
The Hobart Statesmen men's lacrosse team represents the Hobart and William Smith Colleges in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college lacrosse. The program was created in 1898 and plays its home games at Boswell Field. The Statesmen competed in the Northeast Conference from 2014 to 2022, with previous conference membership in the Patriot League and the ECAC Lacrosse League as a Division I program. Starting with the 2023 season, Hobart will play in the newly established men's lacrosse league of the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10). Through 2022, the team has an all–time record of 801-521-20.
The Fordham Rams softball team represents Fordham University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10). From 1985 until 1990, the team was a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). From 1991 until 1995, the team was a member of the Patriot League (PL). The Rams are currently led by head coach Melissa Inouye. The team plays its home games at Bahoshy Softball Complex, which is located on the college's campus.
The 2014 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Tournament, known as the 2014 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Tournament Presented by Amtrak for sponsorship reasons, was the eighteenth edition of the tournament. Held from November 13-16, it determined the Atlantic 10 Conference's automatic berth into the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship.
The Fordham Rams women's basketball team represents Fordham University, located in the Bronx, New York, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They currently compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
The Fordham–St. John's rivalry is an inter-conference rivalry between the Fordham Rams and the St. John's Red Storm who are both located in New York City: Fordham playing in The Bronx and St. John's playing in Queens. Conference-wise, the Rams play in the Atlantic 10 Conference, while the Red Storm play in the Big East Conference.
The Battle of the Bronx is a college sports rivalry between Manhattan University and Fordham University, two NCAA Division I schools that play in The Bronx district of New York City. The rivalry dates back to the men's basketball teams playing in 1911 and has since grown into a multi-sport rivalry, and one of the largest intra-city college rivalries in New York City.
The 2019 Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer season was the 33rd season of men's college soccer in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The season began on August 30, 2019, and concluded on November 2, 2019.
Damon Anthony Lopez is an American former basketball player known for his collegiate career at Fordham University between 1988 and 1991, where he was the Patriot League's first-ever player of the year in 1991. He also had a professional basketball career for eight years following college. Lopez played the center position and set a number of Fordham records for blocks. In 2015 he was selected to the Patriot League Men's Basketball 25th Anniversary Team.
The 2020 Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer season was the 34th season of men's college soccer in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The season was scheduled to begin on August 29, 2020 and conclude on November 6, 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The season is scheduled to begin on February 3, 2021 and conclude on April 11, 2021.
