Forever is the sixth studio album by GusGus, released February 23rd, 2007 in the UK, March 1st in Iceland, February 26th in the rest of Europe and in April in North America. [1] A limited edition release of the album also includes with a disc of bonus tracks with B-sides and remixes, and an interview. In the Icelandic charts, which is based on sales data, Forever peaked in the third place. [2]

Forever received positive reviews from critics. Trausti Júlíusson of Fréttablaðið gave it five stars and stated that it is a "great dance music album that just works from the first beat to the last. A highlight of GusGus´s career." [3] Ben Hogwood of MusicOMH gave it four stars and stated that it "is a superbly vital and energizing album", although "the album goes on a bit too long". [4]

Sinfóníuhljómsveit Íslands (ISO) is an Icelandic orchestra based in Reykjavík, Iceland. Its primary concert venue is the Harpa Concert Hall. The Iceland Symphony is an autonomous public institution under the auspices of the Icelandic Ministry of Education. Iceland Symphony Orchestra made its home in Háskólabíó from 1961–2011, but moved into the new 1800-seat Harpa Concert Hall in spring 2011. The orchestra gives approximately sixty concerts each season. Per a 1982 law, the Iceland Symphony's primary financial sources are the Icelandic treasury (82%) and the City of Reykjavik (18%).

Hafdís Huld Musical artist

Hafdís Huld Þrastardóttir, known simply as Hafdís Huld, is an Icelandic singer and actress. She began her musical career as a member of the electronic band GusGus in 1995 and left the group in 1999. Hafdís made her solo debut with her 2006 album Dirty Paper Cup.

Apple Scruffs (song) 1971 single by George Harrison

"Apple Scruffs" is a song by English rock musician George Harrison from his 1970 triple album All Things Must Pass. He wrote it as a tribute to the die-hard Beatles fans known as Apple scruffs, who used to wait outside the Apple Corps building and other London locations for a glimpse of the band members. This tradition continued after the group's break-up in April 1970, as the scruffs were a regular presence outside the studios where Harrison recorded his album. The song was also issued on the album's second single, as the B-side to "What Is Life".

Joshua Helm is an American former professional basketball player. After graduating from Mercyhurst University, he starred in Iceland and the Netherlands, being named All-Star in both countries. In 2005 he was named the Úrvalsdeild Foreign Player of the Year in Iceland after leading the league in scoring with 37.2 points per game.

Jökull Júlíusson is an Icelandic singer-songwriter, best known as the lead singer of Kaleo. He gained national fame for covering the song "Vor í Vaglaskógi" with Kaleo in 2013.
