The Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East (FRRME) aims to rebuild lives and restore hope in the Middle East, engaging with minority communities and the disadvantaged; confronting injustice, mistrust, poverty and exclusion; facilitating open communications through local grassroots partnerships; and delivering practical projects in education, training and healthcare. FRRME is operational in Iraq (Kurdistan and Baghdad) and Jordan. [1]

Andrew Paul Bartholomew White was the vicar of St George's Church, Baghdad, the only Anglican church in Iraq, until his departure, ordered in November 2014 by the Archbishop of Canterbury due to security concerns. Known as the "Vicar of Baghdad", White is former president of the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East. He was previously Director of International Ministry at the International Centre for Reconciliation at Coventry Cathedral, England. He qualified and worked as an operating department practitioner prior to becoming ordained.

Human Relief Foundation(HRF) is a charity set up by the United Kingdom in 1991. Since the last war on Iraq (2003), HRF paid attention for the training courses for doctors. It sent a considerable number of medical staff from the UK to help train the Iraqi doctors on various subjects. HRF thinks that the need for qualified doctors in Iraq is increasing as a result of the deteriorating situation. The London Community Foundation is a registered community development charity in London, formed in 2012. Its aim is to bring about positive social change, to help Londoners facing disadvantage. Operating pan-London in 32 boroughs, it gives out grants to a range of charities and community groups across the city. It specialises in funding small and medium-sized community-based projects that do not attract mass public support. The London Community Foundation’s work is funded by individual philanthropists, companies, trusts, central and local government, social enterprises such as housing groups, and clinical commissioning groups.
