"Comfortably Numb" is a song by English rock band Pink Floyd from their eleventh album, The Wall (1979). It was released as a single in 1980, with "Hey You" as the B-side. The music was composed by guitarist David Gilmour. The lyrics were written by bassist Roger Waters.
The Matches are an American rock band from Oakland, California, active from 1997 to 2009. Formed as the Locals, the group changed their name after five years to avoid conflict with a Chicago band of the same name. As the Matches, they self-released their debut album E. Von Dahl Killed the Locals in 2003, then signed to Epitaph Records who re-released it the following year. Decomposer followed in 2006, seeing the band move from their pop punk roots in a more idiosyncratic direction with contributions from nine different record producers; it reached no. 18 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart. With their third album, A Band in Hope (2008), their sound became even more heavily layered and experimental; it was their only release to chart on the Billboard 200, reaching no. 179.

"The Truth" was solely written and produced by Prince, who also provided the track's entire instrumentation. Musically, the recording is an acoustic rock and folk song that lyrically has Prince claiming that there is "no more truth" left in the world.
"Dry County" is a song by American rock band Bon Jovi. It was released on March 7, 1994, as the sixth and final single from their fifth studio album, Keep the Faith (1992). It was written by Jon Bon Jovi and remixed specifically for the single release by Bob Clearmountain. Clocking in at 9 minutes and 52 seconds, "Dry County" is the longest song that Bon Jovi has ever recorded on a studio album. The single reached number nine on the UK Singles Chart and number six in Finland. It was not released in the United States or Canada. The edited 6 minute version wasn't commercially released in the UK, but was available in parts of Europe. In the UK, the single was issued as a two disc digipack complete with the first disc featuring the full length remix as well as live versions of 'Blood Money' and 'Stranger In This Town.' The second disc featured a full live version of 'Dry County' as well as a cover of the Rolling Stone's 'It's Only Rock & Roll' and a 'Waltzing Mathilda' sung by the bands drummer Tico Torres.

The single included five live tracks taken from a concert recorded on November 3, 1990 at University of California, Irvine's Crawford Hall in Irvine, California. The complete show was released in 2019 as Live In Irvine 1990, as part of the Sonic Youth Archive series of digital releases.

W Face is a two-part studio album release by Japanese recording artist Koda Kumi. The albums were packaged separately under the sub-titles Inside and Outside, and distributed on March 8, 2017 by Rhythm Zone and through digital retails stores by Avex Music Creative Inc. Production on both collections started in early-2016 when she finished her concert tour for Walk of My Life (2015), and launched the campaign with the promotional recording "Shhh!". Furthermore, the singer returns as the album's primary and only songwriter while collaborating with a variety of foreign and international composers and producers.
Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds was Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds's debut album, released on November 22, 2010 on Modern Vintage Recordings. It was recorded almost completely live in just one night at Avatar Studios in New York City, capturing the uniquely tight-yet-loose live sound they had honed over so many hot city nights. The album was listed as one of the top Non-Jazz Favorites for 2010 by All About Jazz. Independent Media Magazine awarded it the "Best album you probably didn't hear in 2010" in its 2010 IMM Music Awards.
Pound of Dirt is Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds's second studio album, released on February 28, 2012 on Modern Vintage Recordings. The title of the album came from a quote from the mother of singer Arleigh Kincheloe and brother Jackson Kincheloe who used to say after some food fell on the floor that she should "Pick that up and eat it -- you've got to eat a pound of dirt before you die". The song "Too Much" was written a year earlier, in early 2011. When the band was laying down the track, Sasha the guitar player found his 1950s Fender Tweed amp had caught fire when the transformer blew out. The band felt that summed up the intensity of the song. The band also created a video for their song, "Make It Rain". Their album was released on the same day as fellow Brooklyn musician, rapper Maino, so that brought them together to make the video. The video was "inspired by the grit and grime of Brooklyn, where both Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds and Maino are from."

The album is their first to be released on their own label, Party Fowl Records. The album was produced by Ryan Hadlock at Bear Creek Studio in a three week session.

3-D The Catalogue is the second official live album and most recent release by German electronic music band Kraftwerk. It was released on 26 May 2017 and was released on several formats, including a four-disc Blu-ray box set, an eight-disc CD box set and a nine-disc vinyl box set. It comprises live versions of every Kraftwerk song from Autobahn (1974) to Tour de France Soundtracks (2003). The performances were recorded between April 2012 and October 2016 at venues around the world. The album was nominated for Best Surround Sound Album and won Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, marking the band's first Grammy win.
