Fr. Dalton's Hurling Club is a hurling club based in Ballymore, County Westmeath, Ireland. [1]
Father Dalton's was founded in 1923, and was named for Father Dalton, a Catholic priest who was martyred c. 1751 during the Penal era for saying Mass at a mass rock in the area. [2] [3] [4]
The club is closely linked to the neighbouring Ballymore GAA, which play Gaelic football.
The adult hurling team lapsed between 1999 and 2008, when Fr Dalton's returned to the Westmeath Junior B Hurling Championship. [5]
Fr Dalton's highest achievement was winning the Westmeath Senior B Hurling Championship in 2022 and 2024.
Fr Dalton Park was severely vandalised in 2023. [6]

That run of victories was ended in 2011 when Ballymachugh beat Mullahoran in the final. In 2017, Mullahoran won their first title in four years with a win over Cootehill on a scoreline of 4–19 to 0–05. East Cavan Gaels won the 2024 title.

Killoe Young Emmets is a Gaelic Football and Ladies' Gaelic football club based in Killoe, County Longford, Ireland. The club is also referred to by the Irish 'Emmet Óg' or by 'Killoe Emmet Óg'. Organised Gaelic Games in the Parish of Killoe can trace its origins back to 1889 with the foundation of the Killoe Erins Pride club. Following a long period of no competition in Longford during the 1890s and early 1900s, the GAA re-emerged in Killoe in late 1903 under the name Killoe Young Emmets and the club competed in Senior Football Championship in 1904, the first such championship held since 1891.
