Fran Ganter

Fran Ganter is a former American football coach.

Ganter served as the Penn State Nittany Lions offensive coordinator under Joe Paterno from 1984 to 2003. [1] [2] In 2000, he was named assistant head coach. [3] [4] Ganter was a member of Penn States 1982 and 1986 national championship teams.

Ganters 1994 offense led the nation in yards per game (520.2) and points per game (47.8). [5] After that season, he was offered the Michigan State Spartans head coaching job, but declined the offer and returned to Penn State. [6] [7] [8]

From 2004 to 2013, Ganter served as Penn State's Associate athletic director. [9] [10] In February 2013, he announced his retirement after 46 years associated with Penn State's football program. [11] [12]

Prior to his coaching career, Ganter played running back at Penn State from 1967 to 1970. [13]

Clarence Lester "Biggie" Munn was an American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He was the head football coach at Albright College (1935–1936), Syracuse University (1946), and most notably Michigan State College (1947–1953), where his 1952 squad won a national championship. Munn retired from coaching in 1953 to assume duties as Michigan State's athletic director, a position he held until 1971. Each year, the Michigan State Spartans football team hands out the "Biggie Munn Award" to the team's most motivational player. Michigan State's Munn Ice Arena, built in 1974, is named in his honor. Munn was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1959, and, in 1961, he became Michigan State's first inductee into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame. He authored the coaching textbook Michigan State Multiple Offense in 1953.

Timothy Bruce Shaw is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Penn State and he was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.

Ron Vanderlinden is a retired American college football coach. Vanderlinden was most recently the linebackers coach at Air Force. He served as the head football coach at the University of Maryland, College Park from 1997 to 2000, compiling a record of 15–29.

Daryll Lawrence Clark is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback. He was signed by the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a free agent in 2010. He played collegiately for the Penn State Nittany Lions. From 2005 until 2009, Clark was the Nittany Lions' all-time passing touchdowns leader, as well as numerous other passing records. Clark was recruited to Penn State out of Ursuline High School in Youngstown by way of The Kiski School in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania. Clark has also been a member of the Omaha Nighthawks, Chicago Rush and Myrtle Beach Freedom.

After attending St. Mary's Preparatory School in Orchard Lake, Michigan, he played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2010 to 2011. Bolden transferred again and finished his college football career as a member of the 2014 Eastern Michigan Eagles football team.
