Herman Edwards Jr. is an American football coach and former player. He played cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons, primarily with the Philadelphia Eagles. Edwards was also a head coach in the NFL from 2001 to 2008 with the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs. Following the conclusion of his NFL coaching career, Edwards was a football analyst at ESPN from 2009 to 2017. He later served as the head coach of Arizona State Sun Devils from 2018 to 2022.

Curley Culp was an American professional football defensive tackle in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arizona State University, where he was also an NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion. He played football professionally in the AFL for the Kansas City Chiefs in 1968 and 1969, and in the NFL for the Chiefs, Houston Oilers, and Detroit Lions. He was an AFL All-Star in 1969 and a six-time AFC–NFC Pro Bowler.

Clark Daniel Gaines is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was also a coach in the United States Football League (USFL). He played for the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his seven-year NFL career. Gaines was the running backs and special teams coach for the New Jersey Generals of the USFL.
Timothy Gerard Grunhard is an American football coach and former center. A second-round draft choice in the 1990 NFL draft for the Kansas City Chiefs, Grunhard went on to play 169 games with Kansas City, the fourth most ever by a Chiefs offensive lineman.

Shipley was also a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent the 2021 season as an offensive assistant for the Buccaneers, before making regular appearances on The Pat McAfee Show.

Kevin Szott is an American Paralympic judoka, former goalball player, shot put thrower and football offensive lineman. He is the older brother of Dave Szott who he played American football with while they were growing up, Kevin played for St Lawrence University as an offensive lineman in 1982 and was a strength coach for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team. He received a master's degree from Penn State in exercise physiology in 1989.
The 2021 Big Ten conference football season was the 126th season of college football play for the Big Ten Conference and part of the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. This was the Big Ten's eighth season with 14 teams. The league's champion was Michigan.
