Mwijukye Francis is a Ugandan politician and legislator, representing Buhweju County, in the Parliament of Uganda. [2] [3]

Politics

He has been a strong FDC member and had contested for three times before his first term in 2017. In 2019, he was elected the parliamentary commissioner representing the FDC. [4]

Education

He went to Bwoga primary school, St. Mukasa seminary primary School, to St Joseph vocational School for both Uganda Certificate of Education and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education and later joined Mbarara University, MUST, where he did Development Studies. [5]

Politics

He has been a strong FDC member and had contested for three times before his first term in 2017. In 2019, he was elected the parliamentary commissioner representing the FDC. [6] He also told a line of ministers in charge of security to resign due to the mass killing of twenty-one women in Wakiso district, by assailants. [7]

In 2016, he joined Parliament after beating the then incumbent Ephraim Biraaro.

In 2021, he opposed the promise by President Yoweri Museveni to pay biology teachers 4 million shillings and history teachers 700,000 shillings. [8]

He also survived poison in his food at a time he was campaigning in his constituency during the 2021 general elections. [9]

He recently survived a fatal accident, [10] though he had also survived poison he ate within his food, during his 2020 election campaign.

He is currently a shadow cabinet Minister for trade and industry. [11]

Christopher Kibanzanga is a Ugandan politician. He is the State Minister for Agriculture in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016, replacing Vincent Ssempijja, who became Cabinet Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries. As of 2017, Kibanzanga is the serving Member of Parliament representing Bughendera County in Bundibugyo District.

Anna Ebaju Adeke is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. Currently she serves as the Member of Parliament representing Women in Soroti District in the 11th Parliament (2021–2026). She previously served as the parliamentary representative of the National Female Youth Constituency in the 10th parliament (2016–2021). She serves as the Deputy President for Forum for Democratic Change in Eastern Region.

Idah Nabayiga is a Ugandan politician and the District Woman Representative for Kalangala District in Uganda's 10th Parliament. She is also a member of the National Resistance Movement on whose ticket she ran on in the 2016 general elections.

Faith Alupo was a Ugandan politician who served as a Member of Parliament, representing the Pallisa District. She was elected to that position in June 2018.

Achiro Lucy Otim, commonly referred to as Lucy Achiro Otim is a female Ugandan politician and a Gender Specialist. She is the district woman representative for Aruu North County consistency, Pader district in the 10th Parliament. Achiro belongs to an independent political party at the Parliament of Uganda. She won the parliamentary seat running as an independent candidate in 2016. Her tenure as member of parliament was cut short when the Ugandan supreme court nullified her election for non-compliance with electoral laws because the electoral commission failed to carry out a vote recount after she had won with a two vote margin, beating James Nabinson Kidega of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). However, she returned as member of parliament after being re-elected Aruu north member of parliament in the April 2017 election by again beating Kidega, this time 64 percent to 32 percent.

Naome Kibaaju is a Ugandan management personnel and a politician in the 10th Parliament of Uganda. She is the woman member of parliament of Sheema County North, Sheema District. She belongs to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) political party.

Thomas Tayebwa is a member of the Parliament of Uganda since 2016, and has served as Deputy Speaker of the Parliament since 2022. He was appointed as the Government Chief Whip by Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Since 2016, he serves as the Member of Parliament for Ruhinda North County in Mitooma District and a member of NRM. He became known for beating a UMEME employee on a leaked video, for which he apologized on 29 August 2020. He served as a member of National Economy Committee and Natural Resources Committee. On 25 March 2022, he was elected by fellow MPs as the Deputy Speaker of Uganda's 11th Parliament, taking over from Among who moved up to be the Speaker of the Parliament, all events following the death of Speaker Jacob Oulanyah.

Christine Nakwang Tubo also known as Christine Tubo Nakwang is a Ugandan politician who is currently the woman representative member of parliament for Kaabong District. Christine was among the National Resistance Movement (NRM) representative in the by- elections of 2021 which happened because Rose Lily Akello the former woman representative of Kaabong District opted to represent the newly created Karenga District that was carved out of Kaabong District. She was nominated over Fadouta Ahmed and Agnes Napio who were also under the NRM ticket. Nakwang was competing with Forum for Democratic Change (FDC)'s candidate Judith Adyaka Nalibe who abandoned the race over allegations of limited support from her party. The need to improve Education and health services in Kaabong District has been listed as the key targets of the newly elected member of parliament Christine Tubo Nakwang.

Dr. Lillian Aber is the women's representative for Kitgum District in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda. She represented the National Resistance Movement under re-elected President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni. In the 2021 general election, Aber won with 41,192 votes against Roselyn Alanyo Olobo of the Uganda People's Congress and Norah Odokorach, an independent candidate.

Apollo Yeri Ofwono is a Ugandan politician and a member of Ugandan parliament representing Tororo Municipality in Tororo District. He was elected to the parliament on the ticket of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). He is a member of the Natural Recourses and Appointments committee.

Asuman Basalirwa is a Ugandan politician and member of the 11th parliament representing Bugiri Municipality. He was first elected to the parliament in 2018 on the ticket of Justice Forum (JEEMA).
