Francisco Vargas (born 12 November 1963) is a Colombian racewalker. He competed in the men's 20 kilometres walk at the 1984 Summer Olympics. [1]

His personal best in the 20 kilometres walk is 1:23:10 set in 1987.

The Men's 20 km Race Walk event at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea had an entry list of 53 competitors. Three athletes were disqualified, while one walker did not finish the race. The race was held on Friday September 23, 1988.

The Men's 20 km Race Walk at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, USSR had an entry list of 34 competitors. Seven athletes were disqualified and two did not finish in the final, which was held on Thursday, 24 July 1980.
