Frank Bucci is a retired American soccer goalkeeper who spent three seasons in the American Soccer League and two in the Major Indoor Soccer League

Bucci attended the University of Pittsburgh where he played on the men's soccer team from 1974 to 1977. [1] In 1978, he played for the Connecticut Yankees of the American Soccer League. [2] He moved to the Columbus Magic for the 1979 season. He also played for the Pittsburgh Spirit of the Major Indoor Soccer League. [3] He later played for the Denver Avalanche. [4] At some point in his career, he also played for Pittsburgh Beadling. [5]

He has coached the Bishop Watterson High School boys' soccer team.

Major Indoor Soccer League (1978–1992)

The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), known in its final two seasons as the Major Soccer League, was an indoor soccer league in the United States that played matches from fall 1978 to spring 1992.

Pittsburgh Spirit were an indoor soccer team based in Pittsburgh and were one of the original six teams that played in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). The Spirit were founded in 1978, suspended operation for the 1980–81 season, then returned to the MISL until owner DeBartolo folded the team on April 11, 1986.
