Frank Olley (18 January 1927 –21 July 1988) was an Australian politician. Born in Sydney,he was educated at Granville Technical College before becoming an electrical tradesman with the Electricity Commission of New South Wales. He was involved in local politics as a member of Yass Municipal Council. In 1972,he defeated Country Party member,Ian Pettitt,in the seat of Hume,entering the Australian House of Representatives as a member of the Labor Party. He was defeated in 1974 by Country Party candidate,Stephen Lusher. Olley died in 1988. [1]

John Alexander Pettitt was an Australian politician. Born in Geelong,Victoria,he was educated at Geelong College before becoming a farmer at Harden,New South Wales. He served in the military from 1940 to 1943. In 1963,he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Country Party member for Hume,defeating Labor member Arthur Fuller. He held the seat until 1972,when he was defeated by Labor's Frank Olley. He died on Christmas Day 1977.
Adam Alexander "Bill" Armstrong was an Australian politician. Born in Deniliquin,New South Wales,he was a grazier before serving in the military 1939–45. Subsequently,he became involved in local politics,serving on Conargo Shire Council. In 1965 he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives in the by-election for the seat of Riverina that followed the resignation of Hugh Roberton;Armstrong was a member of the Country Party. He held the seat until 1969,when he was defeated by Labor's Al Grassby. Armstrong died in 1982.
Ewen Colin Cameron is a retired Australian politician. Born in Melbourne,he had been a farmer and member of Euroa Shire Council before entering federal politics. In 1977,he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Liberal member for Indi,defeating Mac Holten,a member of the Liberals' Coalition partner the Country Party. He held the seat until his retirement in 1993.
Henry Arthur Hewson,OAM was an Australian politician. Born in Korumburra,Victoria,he was a dairy farmer at Warragul before serving in the military 1941–45. He was active in local politics as a member of Warragul Shire Council,and was elected to Gippsland Province in the Victorian Legislative Council for a six-year term at the 1964 state election.
Barry Douglas Simon was an Australian politician. Born in Melbourne,he attended the University of Melbourne before becoming a teacher and barrister. He was a member of Berwick City Council and served as its mayor. In 1975,he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Liberal member for McMillan,defeating Arthur Hewson,a member of the Liberals' Coalition partner the Country Party. He was defeated in 1980 by the Labor Party,largely due to the Democratic Labor Party's decision to direct its preferences to Labor in view of Simon's liberal views on abortion. Simon was also targeted by Right to Life organisations,and this was also credited as a factor in his defeat. Simon died in 2004.
Robert Shannon King was an Australian politician. Born in Warracknabeal,Victoria,he attended Carey Baptist Grammar School in Melbourne before serving in the military 1940–45. He returned to Warracknabeal as a farmer and grazier,and became an official of the Victorian Country Party. In 1958,he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Country Party member for Wimmera. On 5 October 1971 he was appointed Assistant Minister assisting the Minister for Primary Industry,holding that this position until the McMahon Government's defeat on 5 December 1972.

Wilfred John Brimblecombe,CBE was an Australian politician. Born in Laidley,Queensland,he was educated at Ipswich Grammar School and then Queensland Agricultural College. He was a farmer,and served in the military 1915–1919,after which he was a councillor on Wambo Shire Council. In 1951,he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Country Party member for Maranoa,defeating the sitting member,Charles Russell,who had been expelled from the Country Party for supporting the appreciation of the pound. He held the seat until his retirement in 1966. Brimblecombe died in 1973.
Henry Norman Charles Bandidt,MBE was an Australian politician. Born near Gatton,Queensland,he was educated at Ipswich Grammar School and the University of Queensland before becoming a solicitor in 1931. While at University,he resided at King's College,his first year being 1925. He was a dairy farmer,writer and lecturer,as well as an official with the Queensland branch of the Country Party. In 1958,he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Country Party member for Wide Bay. He was defeated in 1961. Bandidt died in 1990.
John Mead Hallett was an Australian politician. He was a member of the Country Party and served in the House of Representatives from 1963 to 1974,representing the Western Australian seat of Canning. He also served as state president of the Country Party from 1962 to 1963.

In 1955,he was expelled from the Labor Party together with many other members,joining with them to form the Australian Labor Party (Anti-Communist),which became the Democratic Labor Party (DLP). He was the NSW DLP General Secretary 1956–1971 and the Federal Secretary 1957–1971.
