The Kool-Aid Man is the primary mascot for Kool-Aid, a brand of flavored drink mix. The character has appeared on television and print advertising as a fun-loving, gigantic and anthropomorphic pitcher filled with Tropical Punch Kool-Aid and marked with a smiley face on the glass pitcher. He is typically featured answering the call of children by smashing through walls and furnishings and then holding a pitcher filled with Kool-Aid drink while yelling his catchphrase, "Oh yeah!”.

Carl Johnson is a fictional character and the playable protagonist of Rockstar North's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, published by Rockstar Games. Carl is a member of the Grove Street Families, a gang located in Los Santos. While playing San Andreas, one controls the movements and actions of Carl as he proceeds through the storyline and finishes missions. Throughout the game, he slowly rises in prominence as he successfully completes increasingly difficult tasks.

Coming as it did in the wake of two earlier singles from Scary Monsters, "Ashes to Ashes" in August 1980 and "Fashion" in October the same year, NME critics Roy Carr and Charles Shaar Murray labelled its release another instance "in the fine old tradition of milking albums for as much as they could possibly be worth". Euphoria is a game animation engine created by NaturalMotion based on Dynamic Motion Synthesis, NaturalMotion's proprietary technology for animating 3D characters on-the-fly "based on a full simulation of the 3D character, including body, muscles and motor nervous system". Instead of using predefined animations, the characters' actions and reactions are synthesized in real-time; they are different every time, even when replaying the same scene. While it is common for current video games to use limp "ragdolls" for animations generated on the fly, Euphoria employs a more complex method to animate the entirety of physically bound objects within the game environment. The engine was to be used in an Indiana Jones game that has since been cancelled. According to its web site, Euphoria runs on the Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS and Android platforms and is compatible with all commercial physics engines.
