Frank von Behren (born 28 September 1976 in Hille) is a retired German team handball player. [1]
Von Behren played professionally for GWD Minden (1996–2003), VfL Gummersbach (2003–2006), SG Flensburg-Handewitt (2006–2008) and again Minden (2008). He reached the EHF Champions League final in 2007 with Flensburg.
Sustaining a broken thumb on top of a severe shoulder injury, von Behren ended his playing career on 1 August 2008.
On 10 March 1998 von Behren made his international debut for Germany in a match against Sweden in Ellwangen. Until 2008, he played 167 games for the national team, scoring 356 goals.
He received a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. [2] Prior to that, he had received a silver medal at the 2002 European championship.
Von Behren is married and has three children. In 2008 he started studying sport management in Oldenburg. Von Behren worked as a pundit for Eurosport's German language coverage of the EHF Champions League. As of the 2014–15 season he does the same job for Sky Deutschland.
Talant Mushanbetovich Dujshebaev is a former handball player, and current coach, who serves as the head coach for Vive Kielce. Dujshebaev is considered by many to be one of the greatest handball coaches of his generation. He successively played for 4 national teams in his playing career: First for the Soviet Union, then the Unified Team, then Russia and finally Spain. His most usual demarcation as a player was centre backcourt. After initially having success with BM Ciudad Real as a coach, he has been coaching Kielce for nearly a decade now.
Ólafur Indriði Stefánsson is a former Icelandic handball player who, for many years was the captain of the Iceland men's national handball team but announced his international retirement after the 2012 London Olympics. His position was right back. At his peak he was considered to be one of the very best handball players in the world.
Anita Görbicz is a Hungarian former professional handballer who played for Győri ETO KC and the Hungary national team. She is widely regarded as one of the best handball players of all time, and was voted IHF World Player of the Year in 2005 by the International Handball Federation. Görbicz has also been given the nickname the Queen of Handball internationally.
Valérie Nicolas is a French handball goalkeeper and former player of the French national team. She became World Champion in 2003 with the French team, and was also voted Most Valuable Player and Best Goalkeeper. She was voted into the All-Star Team in the 2007 World Championship. Among her other triumphs are a silver medal from the World Championships, two bronze medals from the European Championships, victories at the Champions League, the EHF Cup, the Cup Winners' Cup, and both French and Danish national championships.

Igor Vori is a Croatian retired handball player and current coach. He is currently working as the sports director of the Croatian national team.
Nikša Kaleb is a retired Croatian handball player. He is World champion from 2003 with the Croatian national team, and Olympic champion from 2004. He received a silver medal at the 2005 World Championship, and a silver medal at the 2008 European Championship.
Drago Vuković, is a former Croatian handball player. He is Olympic champion from 2004 with the Croatian national team, and he received a silver medal at the 2008 and 2010 European championships, and bronze medals at the 2012 Olympics, the 2013 World Championships and 2012 European Championships. He is the twin brother of the football player, the goalkeeper of RNK Split, Andrija Vuković.

Vedran Zrnić is a Croatian professional handball player for Nexe Našice. He is World champion from 2003, and Olympic champion from 2004 with the Croatia national team. He received a silver medal at the 2005 World championship.
Pascal "Pommes" Hens is a former German team handball player and former World Champion. He received a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens with the German national team. He is World Champion from 2007, and European champion from 2004. The last team he played for was HBW Balingen-Weilstetten. He won the EHF Cup Winner's Cup in 2007 and the EHF Champions League in 2013 with HSV Hamburg. He represented his native country at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.
Michael Vestergaard Knudsen is a Danish team handball player. He is a European Champion, having won the 2008 European Men's Handball Championship with the Danish national handball team. He received a bronze medal at the 2007 World Men's Handball Championship, where he was voted into the All-star-team. In 2011 he won a silver medal at the world championships, with Denmark losing to France in what was described as "the most thrilling World Championships final since decades".
Katrine Fruelund is a former Danish team handball player and two times Olympic champion. She received gold medals with the Danish national team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She stopped her career in June 2012.
Rikke Erhardsen Skov is a former Danish team handball player and Olympic champion. She received a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. A loyal player of Viborg HK, Skov joined the club yet as a teenager in 1994 and it remained her lone team till she retired in 2016 and retired from active sports when she became pregnant in February 2017.

Anders Eggert is a Danish handball coach and former player. He has previously played in Denmark for GOG and Skjern Håndbold, and german side SG Flensburg-Handewitt. He was part of SG Flensburg-Handewitt team that won the 2013–14 EHF Champions League trophy. In his 11 years with SG Flensburg-Handewitt he played in 461 matches and scored 2531 times.
Tobias Karlsson is a Swedish former handball player who last played for SG Flensburg Handewitt. He competed for the Swedish national team that won the silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
