Freaky Flow is the stage name of Stephen Grey a drum and bass hip hop DJ.
Freaky Flow was born in 1977 as Stephen Grey [1] in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1979 with his parents, he relocated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. While attending high school, he began to DJ as a hobby. Eventually it developed into a career while earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Toronto. In 2009, he moved to Los Angeles, California. He has dual citizenship in the United States and Canada.

In 1993, Freaky Flow first began DJing mainly at house parties and small events. He started his career in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In 1995, Freaky Flow was "introduced" at the very first Liquid Adrenaline event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. [2]
In 1995, Freaky Flow released his first DJ mix tape, entitled Music To Make You Freak – Volume 1. In the years that followed, Freaky Flow released seven additional mixes, in audio cassette form, prior to releasing his first CD in 1999.
In 1997, Freaky Flow launched Placebo Recordings (a subsidiary of Stickman Records) with MC Flipside, and The Stickmen. The label produced three vinyl records. [3]
In 1999, Freaky Flow released his first DJ mix CD, entitled Obscene Underground – Volume 1: Freaky Flow (often referred to as "Tits", due to the album artwork, which bears this word on the front of it [4] ), which has sold over 20,000 units in Canada (and was not widely released outside of Canada). In 2001, Freaky Flow was signed to Moonshine Music. That same year, he released his first mix CD outside of Canada, entitled World Domination. [6]
In 2002, Freaky Flow released another album on Moonshine Music, entitled Keep It Live, his first ever commercially released live recording. The album is hosted by MC Flipside, and was recorded at an event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. [7]
In 2003, Freaky Flow released the album The Envy, on New York label, Topaz Records. [8]
In 2004, Freaky Flow independently released another mix CD, entitled Flashback, featuring only songs that he had written, co-written, or remixed since the start of his career. [9]
In 2006, Freaky Flow launched a new record label, Freaky Flow Recordings. That same year, the label released the debut album of the Canadian electronic music group, The Heavy Petters (often billed as Freaky Flow Presents: The Heavy Petters). [10] The album was entitled Smell The Glove. [10] Freaky Flow served as Executive Producer.
In 2009, Freaky Flow released the mix album The Furious Factor on New York's Moist Music, as a joint-venture with Furious Records. This album was a retrospective mix compilation made up entirely of notable releases on Toronto-based drum and bass label, Furious Records. [11]
In 2011, Freaky Flow continued his Volume mix series (the last of which was Volume 008, several years earlier), with two new mixes, Volume 009 and Volume 010, both given away free online. [12]
Grey has also been known to include music from other genres in his DJ sets, ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Don Henley. He is the owner of Freaky Flow Recordings [10] (a division of Freaky Flow Entertainment Group), the record label that released the Canadian electronic music group, The Heavy Petters (often billed as "Freaky Flow Presents: The Heavy Petters"). Having released six mix CDs in total, Freaky Flow has sold more drum and bass mix albums than any other Canadian DJ. His debut album To Infinity was championed by Radio 1 and the track "Chiller" made iTunes top 20. The latest single The Strangest Times was championed by Guy Monnington on Amazing Radio who included the track in his `Against the grain playlist` The video for the track was shortlisted for video of the year by The Weekender magazine. Alex Tronic`s single "A Voice for the Silent" features the words of Australian philanthropist and animal rights activist Philip Wollen. Tronic has also had success with "Feels Like Falling", his second collaboration with Scots chanteuse Shuna Lovelle. The EP peaked at number 1 in iTunes Lounge charts in February 2018. The single has been heavily rotated on the influential radio station Chill FM. The previous single "Brave About It" released in July 2017 also made number 1 on the iTunes lounge charts.

Camo & Krooked are an electronic music duo from Vienna, Austria with their musical roots embedded in drum and bass, consisting of Reinhard "Camo" Rietsch and Markus "Krooked" Wagner.
JFA is an American hardcore punk band formed in 1981, with roots in Arizona and in Southern California skateboard culture. The original members include Brian Brannon (vocals), Don "Redondo" Pendleton (guitar), Michael Cornelius (bass), and Mike "Bam-Bam" Sversvold (drums). Alan Bishop of Sun City Girls also played bass for a time. The band was pivotal in the development of the skate punk and Skate Rock scenes. Over the years, the lineup has included many bass players and drummers but the core of Brannon and Redondo has remained constant.

Happy 2b Hardcore is a DJ mix album by Canadian DJ Anabolic Frolic. It was released in 1997 on American breakbeat label Moonshine Music and is the first series in Frolic's Happy 2b Hardcore series of DJ mix albums, documenting the emergence of happy hardcore music in the United Kingdom and Europe. The series itself is a spin-off of Moonshine's Speed Limit 140 BPM+ series of fast-tempo dance music compilations. The album was conceived to introduce American audiences to happy hardcore, and contains sixteen of the genre's anthems which carry many of happy hardcore's defining characteristics, such as fast tempo, frantic breakbeats, major key tonality, off-kilter, quirky keyboard effects and "semi-melodies."
Marcus Julian Kaye, better known by his stage name Marcus Intalex, was an English drum and bass producer, DJ and musician. He additionally made house and techno music under the pseudonym Trevino. Between 1993 and 2000 he co-hosted the drum-and-bass radio show Da Intalex on Kiss 102 FM in Manchester. Kaye was the founder of the Soul:R, Revolve:R, and Birdie recording labels, and was active as a DJ, record producer, and touring artist from 1991 until his death in May 2017. His albums included the 2007 release FabricLive.35 and the 2011 release 21.
Erik Weiss, better known by his stage name Liondub, is an American DJ, producer, and record label owner who specializes in jungle, drum and bass, reggae, dancehall, hip hop and dubstep.
