Fred van Zutphen (born 7 January 1971 in Veghel, Netherlands), is a retired Dutch athlete who competes in compound archery. Amongst his achievements are competing at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the recurve discipline, where he reached the last 16, winning stages in the team competition at the FITA Archery World Cup in 2006 and 2009, winning silver medals at the European Archery Championships and becoming the world number one ranked archer in 2003. Archery at the Summer Olympics

Archery had its debut at the 1900 Summer Olympics and has been contested in 16 Olympiads. Eighty-four nations have competed in the Olympic archery events, with France appearing the most often at 31 times. The most noticeable trend has been the excellence of South Korean archers, who have won 27 out of 39 gold medals in events since 1984. It is governed by the World Archery Federation. Oh Jin-hyek South Korean archer

Oh Jin-hyek is a South Korean archer. Oh first competed for the Korean national team in 1999, but did not win a major individual international tournament until he won the gold medal in the Men's individual event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, also becoming the first Korean male archer to win an Olympic individual gold medal. With partners Im Dong-hyun and Kim Bub-min, he also finished in third place in the Men's team event. He was the world number one ranked archer from April 2013 to June 2014, winning the individual gold medal at the 2013 Archery World Cup Final and two individual silver medals at the 2011 and 2013 World Championships.

Braden Gellenthien American archer

Braden Gellenthien, is an athlete from the United States who competes in compound archery. He is a former world number one archer and has won individual gold medals at the FITA Archery World Cup, Indoor World Championships and Arizona Cup, and team gold medals at the World Archery Championships.

Luzmary Guedez is a Venezuelan athlete who competes in compound archery. She was the winner of the 2009 FITA Archery World Cup final, and won several World Cup stages from 2007–09, as well as winning medals in a range of national, regional and international individual and team competitions.

Gladys Willems Belgian archer

Gladys Willems is a Belgian compound archer. She has competed at the major World Archery Federation competitions, the World Cup, winning stage medals, and the World Archery Championships, winning a gold medal at the indoor championships. She set a world record of 149 for a 15-arrow round in 2011, a record which stood until broken by Sara Lopez's first ever perfect round of 150 in 2013, and a FITA round world record of 1411 in 2007 in Lausanne. The highest world ranking she has achieved is 4, in 2007.

The 2009 Archery World Cup was the 4th edition of the international archery circuit, organised by the World Archery Federation. The best individual and mixed performers in each discipline over the three legs then joined host representatives in qualifying for the finals.

The 2010 Archery World Cup was the 5th edition of the annual international archery circuit, organised by the World Archery Federation.

2014 Archery World Cup

The 2014 Archery World Cup was the 9th edition of the annual international archery circuit, organised by the World Archery Federation.

2013 Archery World Cup

The 2013 Archery World Cup was the 8th edition of the annual international archery circuit, organised by the World Archery Federation. Archers in the recurve and compound disciplines acquired qualifying points based on their performance. The top mixed team and the top seven individual archers over the course of the four stages joined the leading non-qualified host nation archer for the finals.

The 2015 Archery World Cup is the 10th edition of the annual international archery circuit, organised by the World Archery Federation.

The 2016 Archery World Cup is the 11th edition of the international archery circuit organised annually by the World Archery Federation. The preliminary stage consisted of three legs instead of the usual four, to make room for the Olympic archery tournament. The third leg was also the final Olympic qualification event.
