For James, this is the first Olympic medal, and this was also the second medal for Australia at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

It was won by Perrine Laffont, with Justine Dufour-Lapointe taking silver and Yuliya Galysheva taking bronze. For Laffont and Galysheva these were first Olympic medals. Galysheva also won the first ever medal in Kazakhstan in freestyle skiing.

For Wallberg and Horishima this is the first Olympic medal.
