Birk Ruud (born 2 April 2000) is a Norwegian freestyle skier in halfpipe and slopestyle and Olympic champion in big air.

In 2016, he won Gold (Slopestyle) at the Winter Youth Olympics at Lillehammer. [1]

He participated at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2019, winning the silver medal in the slopestyle event. [2]

He has won 4 medals (including 2 golds) in X Games (Norway 2018, Aspen 2019, Aspen 2020, Norway 2020). [3] [4]

During the 2022 Winter Olympics, Ruud qualified first in the inaugural big air event. During the final, Ruud secured the gold medal on his first run, scoring a combined score of 187.75. [5] On his victory run, Ruud did a double 1440 mute holding the Norwegian flag, scoring perfect 69s in doing so. [6]

David Wise is an American freestyle skier. He is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and a four-time X Games Gold Medalist. In 2014, Wise won his third consecutive gold medal at Winter X Games XVIII in Aspen, Colorado, before heading to Sochi for the 2014 Winter Olympics. There, he became the first Olympic gold medalist in the Men's Freeski Halfpipe, which debuted in the Winter Games that year. In 2018, after struggling both personally and professionally since his win in Sochi, Wise won his fourth gold medal at the X Games just before he left for PyeongChang to defend his Olympic title. After a sub-par qualifying competition that placed him in the fifth drop-in position for the finals, Wise failed to complete each of his first two runs due, in both cases, to a binding malfunction. On his third and final run, Wise completed a career-best run to take the gold medal, the second Olympic gold medal of his career, with a score of 97.20.

Marcus Kleveland is a Norwegian professional snowboarder who specializes in the slopestyle and big air events. He was the first ever to complete a quad cork 1800 in competition and won gold in Slopestyle and silver in Big Air at his Winter X Games debut in 2017. He also won the world cup of Milan in November 2016. In 2018, he won 2 medals at Winter X Games : Gold at Slopestyle and a 2nd place at Big Air. Following the X Games, Kleveland attended his first Olympics at only 18, placing 6th in the Men's Slopestyle and 18th in Big Air. Laurie Blouin is a Canadian freestyle snowboarder. She is the reigning FIS World Champion in slopestyle, winning the gold at the 2017 World Championships. Blouin won a silver medal in slopestyle at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
