Eric Bergoust (born August 27, 1969) is an American freestyle skier. In 1998 Bergoust participated at the 1998 Winter Olympics held in Nagano, Japan where he won a gold medal in the freestyle ski jump (aerials). [1] [2]
Bergoust was born in Missoula, Montana. [3] He has competed in aerials at four successive Winter Olympics. In addition to the gold medal in 1998, he finished 7th in 1994, 12th in 2002, and 17th in 2006.
He is one of five people known to have performed a quadruple flip on snow, along with Frank Bare, Jr., Lloyd Langlois, Matt Chojnacki and Nicolas Fontaine.
Stein Eriksen was an alpine ski racer and Olympic gold medalist from Norway. Following his racing career, he was a ski school director and ambassador at various resorts in the United States.

Lina Anatolyevna Cheryazova was an Uzbek freestyle skier who competed in aerials. She won a bronze medal at the 1990 European Championship and a gold medal at the 1993 World Championships before winning the gold medal at the 1994 Winter Olympics with a score of 166.84. So far she is the only athlete to have won a Winter Olympic medal while representing Uzbekistan. Her achievements earned her the title of Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Han Xiaopeng is a freestyle skier who competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, and won gold in the men's aerials event. In this discipline he also won the World Championships in 2007. Han is the first Chinese male athlete to ever win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics.
Aleksei Gennadyevich Grishin is a Belarusian freestyle skier who competed at five consecutive Olympics from 1998 to 2014. He won Belarus' only medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics, a bronze in aerials. In 2010, he won the first ever Winter Olympics gold medal for his country, again in the aerials. He finished fourth in 2006 and eighth in 1998. He was the Olympic flag bearer for Belarus at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Games.
Hilde Synnøve Lid is a Norwegian freestyle skier. Her achievements include winning an Olympic medal in aerials in 1994, a silver medal in aerials at the 1999 world championships, and placing third overall in aerials in the world cup in 2000.
Joe Pack is an American freestyle skier and Olympic medalist. He received a silver medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, in aerials.
Ashley Caldwell is an American freestyle skier who has competed in aerials since 2008. Caldwell was named to the US team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in January 2010 after competing in the sport for only two seasons. The youngest in the event, she reached the finals of the Aerials. Caldwell won her first World Cup aerials event in the United States in Lake Placid, New York, in January 2011, becoming the youngest freestyle female ever to win.
Anton Sergeyevich Kushnir is a Belarusian aerial skier who competed in the 2006, 2010 and the 2014 Winter Olympics. He has five World Cup victories. Kushnir won a bronze medal at the 2011 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships. He won a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, with the highest score in Olympics history.

Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Abramenko is a Ukrainian Olympic gold medalist freestyle skier, specializing in aerials. He is the 2015–16 Aerials World Cup winner. He competed at the 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics, winning the Olympic gold medal in the men's aerials event at Pyeongchang. Abramenko is also 2019 World Championships and 2022 Winter Olympics silver medalist.

Considered one of India's top wrestlers in his decade, Cheema has claimed the gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England, scored two bronze in the 120-kg division at the Asian Games, and also represented his nation India at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Throughout his sporting career, Cheema trained full-time for NIS Patiala Wrestling Club under his coach and father Sukhchain Singh Cheema.

During that period he had six podium finishes, including one win, on the FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup, and was the 1998 United States National Champion in Aerials.
Maja Schmid is a Swiss freestyle skier. She competed at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, where she placed fourth in women's aerials. She won a gold medal in women's combined at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships 1991.
Kristean Porter is an American freestyle skier. She was born in Biloxi. She competed at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, in women's aerials. She won a gold medal in combined at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships 1995.
