Shen-Yan Freida Lim (born 7 February 1998) [1] is a Singaporean diver. She qualified to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the 10 metre platform by placing 15th at the semi-finals of the 2021 FINA Diving World Cup in the 10 metre platform event. This made her the first female Singaporean diver to qualify for the Olympics and the second ever Singaporean diver to qualify for the Olympics, following Jonathan Chan. [2]
Lim started in competitive swimming as a child. When she was 14, she was diagnosed with Graves' disease, which meant that she had to stop swimming and choose a different sport that was less endurance-based. She chose diving. [3]
She attended Clemson University for her freshman year of college. At the end of the season, they abruptly ended their diving program, which led her to transfer to the University of Georgia. [3] She competed for Georgia for three seasons and graduated in May 2021 with degrees in Dietetics and Culinary Science & Nutrition. [4]
Diving is the sport of jumping or falling into water from a platform or springboard, usually while performing acrobatics. Diving is an internationally recognized sport that is part of the Olympic Games. In addition, unstructured and non-competitive diving is a recreational pastime.
Laura Ann Wilkinson is an American diver, three-time Olympian, and Olympic gold medalist. She is the first woman to win the three major diving world titles. Wilkinson retired in 2008. After nine years of retirement, she returned to competition in 2017 and placed second at Nationals. She trained for her fourth Olympic Games (2021) at Texas A&M University's swimming and diving facilities but did not qualify.

Melissa Paige Li Kun Wu is an Australian diver who has represented Australia at five Olympic Games, winning a silver medal at the 2008 Olympic Games and a bronze medal at the 2020 Olympic Games. She has also represented Australia at five Commonwealth Games, winning gold medals in 2010, 2018 and 2022 and silver medals in 2006 and 2010. Wu is a NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) scholarship holder.

Anabelle "Belle" Smith is an Australian diver. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games champion in the 3 metre synchronized springboard. She competed in the 3 m springboard synchronized event at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She won a bronze medal in 2016, and was placed fifth in 2012.

Katrina Young is an American diver. She competed for the United States in the women's 10-meter diving at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and in the 10-meter platform contest at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Naomi Ruele is a Botswana swimmer. She competed in the women's 50 metre freestyle event at the 2016 Summer Olympics where she ranked at #47 with a time of 26.23 seconds. She also swims for Florida International University, and has been named the Conference USA swimmer of the year with wins in the 50 free in a time of 22.11, 100 free in a time of 48.45 and 100 back in a time of 52.42.

She competed in the women's synchronized ten metre platform event at the 2016 Summer Olympics with Tonia Couch and she won bronze at the 2024 Summer Olympics in same category with Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix. She won silver in mixed 10m platform synchro at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships with Matty Lee, and gold in the women's synchronized 10 metre platform at the 2018 European Aquatics Championships with Eden Cheng.
Delaney Schnell is an American diver. In the 10 meter platform, she won a bronze medal at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. In the 10 meter synchronized platform, she won silver medals at the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2022 World Aquatics Championships as well as a bronze medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. In the 10 meter mixed synchronized platform, she won a bronze medal at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships. She competes collegiately for the University of Arizona.
Tanya Watson is a diver who represents Ireland and specialises in the 10m platform. She competed in the women's 10 metre platform event at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. In 2021, she became the first Irish female diver to qualify for and compete in the Olympic Games. In 2022, she also became the first female diver to quality for and represent Team NI in the Commonwealth Games.
Singapore competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the nation's seventeenth appearance at the Summer Olympics since its debut at the 1948 Games. In addition, Singapore was part of the Malaysian team at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, but did not attend at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, because of its support for the United States boycott. The opening ceremony flag-bearers for Singapore are table tennis player Yu Mengyu and shuttler Loh Kean Yew. Diver Jonathan Chan is the flag-bearer for the closing ceremony.
Melissa Briley is an American diver. She competed in the women's 10 metre platform event at the 1976 Summer Olympics.
Nikita Hains is an Australian diver who competes in the 10m individual events, as well as the 10m synchronised.
