Friars Island

Friars Island is a townland in Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland. [1] The townland is in the civil parish of St. Mary's. [2]

The townland stands to the north of the town, on the shores of Killinure Lough, Coosan Lough and Balaghkeeran Bay.
