Origami Angel is an American rock band from Washington D.C., consisting of singer and guitarist Ryland Heagy and drummer Pat Doherty. The duo formed the band in 2016 after the demise of a common prior band, and released a series of EPs leading up to their debut studio album, Somewhere City in 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic limited the ability to tour in support of the album, so they instead focused on recording material written during the prior sessions to release their second studio album, Gami Gang in 2021, and wrote and recorded further material for a series of smaller releases, including a mixtape, The Brightest Days, released on June 16, 2023.

The band was formed in 2001 as a side project to The Operation, an alternative band active from 1999 to 2001 that shared most of its members with mewithoutYou. The debut demo EP by mewithoutYou, Blood Enough For Us All, was released in 2000, the year before the band was officially founded. The first undisputed release by the band was I Never Said That I Was Brave which was released on Kickstart Audio in 2001. Over the next year, the band signed to Tooth & Nail Records and released their debut album, [A→B] Life. The album is post-hardcore with shouted and screamed vocals. In 2004, mewithoutYou released their second album Catch for Us the Foxes, which was their first album to chart, reaching number 13 on the Top Christian Albums chart.
Maximum Love are a British electronic music duo composed of brothers Taylor Morgan Howell and Jordan Charles Howell. The brothers began producing music in their childhoods. In 2013, they signed to AWAL and released their debut extended play Midnight Astronaut in 2014. Since then, they have gone on to release EPs, Dead by Dawn (2016) and Vision (2017) and studio albums Under the Shadow (2018) and Jupiter (2020).
