Frimodig kyrka (en: Bold or Fearless Church) is a nominating group for the church elections in Church of Sweden founded 2005 after a split from POSK.
Frimodig kyrka wants to change the election system to a non political system without any political parties participating. The group does not accept gay marriage and promotes respect for the dissenting minority concerning female priesthood. The group got 13 seats in the Church Assembly at the election 2009.

The Church of Sweden is an Evangelical Lutheran national church in Sweden. A former state church, headquartered in Uppsala, with around 5.6 million members at year end 2021, it is the largest Christian denomination in Sweden, the largest Lutheran denomination in Europe and the third-largest in the world, after the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania.
Bromma is a borough (stadsdelsområde) in the western part of Stockholm, Sweden, forming part of the Stockholm Municipality. Bromma is primarily made up of Bromma Parish and Västerled Parish. The fourth largest airport in Sweden and the third largest of the airports close to Stockholm, the Stockholm Bromma Airport, was first built in Bromma in 1936. The south-eastern part of Bromma is one of the richest areas in Stockholm.
Elections were held to the Church Assembly (Kyrkomötet), i.e. the "parliament" of the Church of Sweden on September 18, 2005. Simultaneously elections were held to diocese and parish assemblies all over the country.
Nominating groups are political parties and other organisations that take part in the elections to the various governing bodies of the Church of Sweden.
Partipolitiskt obundna i Svenska kyrkan (POSK) is a nominating group working with the Church of Sweden. POSK was founded in 1987 as a platform for independents to contest Church elections. POSK is by far the largest non-party nominating group. POSK is represented in the Kyrkomötet and in all Diocese Assemblies of the country.

The church was erected following a period of population increase due to a booming mining industry and Forest Finns settling the area.
