Darkthrone is a Norwegian extreme metal band from Kolbotn, Akershus. Formed in 1986 as a death metal band named Black Death, in 1991 Darkthrone embraced a black metal style influenced by Bathory and Celtic Frost and became one of the leading bands in the Norwegian black metal scene.
Funeral are a Norwegian funeral doom band formed in 1991 by Thomas Angell and Anders Eek; soon afterward, Einar Frederiksen joined as bassist and songwriter and Christian Loos joined as guitarist. They are known as one of the pioneers of the funeral doom genre.
Ashes is the fourth full-length album by the Norwegian band Tristania. The album registers a change in the band's musical style, leaving out the choirs and initiating a heavier sound, with a focus on darker lyrics and the clean vocals of Vibeke Stene. Red Harvest is a Norwegian industrial metal band from Oslo. Their 2002 album Sick Transit Gloria Mundi was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy and an alternative Grammy in the "Best Metal Album" category. Formed in 1989, they have released eight albums, two EPs, one live DVD, a split album with Zyklon, and a compilation album.
The Crusher is the third full-length studio album by Swedish death metal band Amon Amarth. It was released on 8 May 2001, through Metal Blade Records and Sony Music. The album was also released on the Double LP and Picture LP versions on 29 June 2007, which were hand-counted and limited to only 500 copies. A deluxe edition was released in 2009 that featured the album remastered by Jens Bogren, and a bonus CD of the original album played live in its entirety in Bochum, Germany.
Everything All the Time is the debut album of indie rock band Band of Horses and was released on March 21, 2006, on Sub Pop Records. It features new versions of five of the six songs from the band's Tour EP, some with different titles. The album is the only one to feature original band members Mat Brooke, Chris Early and Tim Meinig.
A Twist in the Myth is the eighth studio album by the German power metal band Blind Guardian. It was originally set to be released on 5 September 2006 in Europe, but Nuclear Blast changed the release date to 1 September 2006.

Comin' to Your City is the second studio album by American country music duo Big & Rich, released in 2005. It features the hit singles "Comin' to Your City", "Never Mind Me", and "8th of November", which peaked at number 21, number 34, and number 18 on the Hot Country Songs charts, respectively. Target offered an exclusive deluxe edition of the album which featured a bonus DVD of Big & Rich's performance at the 2005 CMA Music Festival.
Between Two Worlds is the only album by Norwegian black metal supergroup I. The album was recorded at the Lydriket Studio and later mixed by Peter Tägtgren at the Abyss studio. The album showcases Abbath's straightforward metal style rather than his black metal style. The album displays a clear influence from classic metal bands, which although present in Abbath's primary band Immortal, is here the sole focus of the music. A limited edition digipack was released, which includes three bonus tracks. A limited edition metal box was also released, also featuring the three bonus tracks, and was limited to 1000 copies.

The Meanest of Times is the sixth studio album by Dropkick Murphys. It was released on September 18, 2007, by their new vanity label, Born & Bred Records, a division of Cooking Vinyl Records. Their previous albums were released by Hellcat Records. The album was the last to feature guitarist Marc Orrell, who left the band following the tour in support of the album.
Blooddrunk is the sixth album by Finnish melodic death metal band Children of Bodom, released on 7 April 2008 through Spinefarm Records. The album includes a re-recorded version single for "Tie My Rope". Various editions feature one or two cover songs as bonus tracks. The limited edition digipak version of the album includes a bonus DVD with 5.1 surround mixes of all songs and the video and making-of for "Blooddrunk". It sold 20,000 copies during its first week of release.

Mantra is the second album by Norwegian progressive death metal band In Vain. It was released on January 18, 2010 by Indie Recordings. The album was recorded and mixed at the Dub Studio, in Kristiansand, between July 2008 and April 2009. The album was mastered in Strype Audio in May 2009.
Youngblood is the fourth album by Norwegian rock band Audrey Horne, released in 2013. The album marked a stark change in direction for the band, who largely abandoned the post-grunge style typical of their previous albums in favor of a double lead guitar harmony sound, reminiscent of bands such as Thin Lizzy.
Ámr (Old Norse and translates to "black", "loathsome") is the seventh studio album by Norwegian progressive metal artist Ihsahn. The album was released on 4 May 2018 through Candlelight Records. Official videos were released for "Arcana Imperii", "Wake" and "Lend Me the Eyes of Millennia".
