The 2003 AFC Women's Championship was a women's football tournament held in Thailand from 8 to 21 June 2003. It was the 14th holding of the AFC Women's Championship, a tournament for women's national teams from countries affiliated to the Asian Football Confederation.
The 2007 AFF Championship was the 6th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of Southeast Asia. The group stage was co-hosted by Singapore and Thailand from 12 to 17 January. Knockout stage with two-leg Home-and-away format was hosted from 23 January to 4 February 2007.
The qualification process for the 2004 AFC Asian Cup football competition began in March 2003. Out of the 45 AFC members, only Cambodia and the Philippines failed to enter for the tournament. Both China, the hosts and Japan, the reigning champions automatically qualified for the finals. The lowest ranked 20 teams were placed in 6 preliminary qualifying groups of 3 and one group of 2, with the group winners joining the remaining 21 teams in 7 groups of 4. The top two of each of these groups qualified for the finals in China.

The 1996 AFC Asian Cup qualification involved 33 participating teams. The United Arab Emirates (hosts) and Japan (holders) qualified automatically for the 1996 AFC Asian Cup.
The 2002 AFF U-20 Youth Championship was the inaugural edition of the tournament. It took place from 23 January to 3 February 2002 and was co-hosted by Thailand and Cambodia with all ten member nations of the ASEAN Football Federation taking part.

The 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the seventh FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It took place from 1 to 18 November 2012 in Thailand. An extra four teams were competing at this World Cup. This was the first FIFA men's tournament held in Southeast Asia since the Malaysia 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship, and was the first FIFA men's tournament held in the country, having hosted the 2004 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship.

The 2016 AFC Futsal Championship qualification was a men's futsal competition which decided the participating teams of the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship. A total of 16 teams qualified to play in the final tournament, including Japan, Iran, Uzbekistan (hosts), who qualified directly as the top three finishers of the 2014 AFC Futsal Championship. Since third-placed Uzbekistan qualified automatically as hosts, Kuwait, who finished fourth, would have also qualified as the next best-ranked team, but they were later replaced due to FIFA's suspension of the Kuwait Football Association.

The tournament was hosted by Thailand between 16 and 26 May 2017. Iran and Thailand had signaled their intent to host the inaugural competition.

The 2020–21 Men's Volleyball Thailand League is the 16th season of the Men's Volleyball Thailand League, the top Thai professional league for men's volleyball clubs. It was established in 2005 and is also known as Daikin Men's Volleyball Thailand League due to the sponsorship deal with Daikin. A total of eight teams will compete in the league. The season began on 12 November 2020 and is scheduled to conclude in 2021. This season will be organized by the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA) instead Thailand Volleyball Co.,Ltd. COVID-19 has spread to Thailand which affects the sporting seasons.
