Future Addict is the eighth studio album by the American guitarist Marty Friedman. [1] The album is a collection of reworked, reconstructed and completely remade versions of songs spanning Marty's entire career, including a few songs from his Megadeth years. In addition, there are also 3 new songs on the record: "Barbie", "Tears Of An Angel" and the first single "Simple Mystery".

A remixed and remastered version of the album featuring four bonus tracks was released in 2004.

Cacophony was an American heavy metal band formed in 1986 by guitarists Marty Friedman and Jason Becker, and signed to Shrapnel Records. They released two studio albums and remained active until 1989, after which both guitarists forged their own solo careers and joined other bands.

Nicholas Menza was an American musician best known as the former drummer for thrash metal band Megadeth from 1989 to 1998. He recorded drums on four of Megadeth's albums: Rust in Peace (1990), Countdown to Extinction (1992), Youthanasia (1994), and Cryptic Writings (1997).

Scenes is the second studio album by guitarist Marty Friedman, released on November 17, 1992 through Shrapnel Records and Roadrunner Records (Europe). It is a notable stylistic departure from Friedman's first album, Dragon's Kiss (1988), as well as his heavier work with Cacophony and Megadeth, in that it predominantly features mellow, clean-tone playing instead of his usual distortion. A Tout le Monde 1995 song by Megadeth

"A Tout le Monde" is a song by American heavy metal band Megadeth, featured on their 1994 studio album Youthanasia. It was released as a single in February 1995 through Capitol Records. The song was later remade and reissued as "À Tout le Monde ", featuring Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil, on Megadeth's 2007 studio album United Abominations. The song's chorus, "à tout le monde, à tous mes amis, je vous aime, je dois partir", translated into English is, "to the whole world, to all my friends, I love you, I have to go", which prompted controversy after accusations that it was pro-suicide.

"Holy Wars... The Punishment Due" is a song by American thrash metal band Megadeth and the opening track off their fourth studio album Rust in Peace (1990). The song has an unusual structure: it opens with a fast thrash section, shifting at 2:26 after an acoustic bridge by Marty Friedman to a different, slower and heavier section called "The Punishment Due", interspersed by two guitar solos played by Friedman, before speeding up again with a third and final solo played during this segment by Dave Mustaine. The entire song is commonly referred to as "Holy Wars", with "The Punishment Due" referring to the heavier slower section.
