Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer and musician Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. After recording independent EPs as a duo in the late 90s, and a demo CD, Evanescence released their debut studio album, Fallen, on Wind-up Records in 2003. Propelled by the success of hit singles like "Bring Me to Life" and "My Immortal", Fallen sold more than four million copies in the US by January 2004, garnering the band two Grammy Awards out of six nominations. The band released their first live album and concert DVD, Anywhere but Home, in 2004, which sold over one million copies worldwide.
Newsboys are a Christian rock band founded in 1985 in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, by Peter Furler and George Perdikis. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, the band has released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold. As of 2023, the band consists of lead vocalist Michael Tait, drummer and percussionist Duncan Phillips, keyboardist and bassist Jeff Frankenstein, guitarist Jody Davis and bass guitarist Adam Agee. In addition to performing music, the band has appeared in the films God's Not Dead, God's Not Dead 2, and God's Not Dead: A Light In Darkness.
Stone Sour is an American rock band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1992. The band performed for five years before disbanding in 1997. They reunited in 2000 and since 2015, the group has consisted of Corey Taylor, Josh Rand (guitar), Christian Martucci (guitar), Johny Chow (bass) and Roy Mayorga (drums). Longtime members Joel Ekman and Shawn Economaki left the band in 2006 and 2011, respectively. Former lead guitarist Jim Root left in 2014. The band has been on an indefinite hiatus since 2020.

John Charles LeCompt is an American guitarist who has been part of the Little Rock metal music since the mid-1990s. He played rhythm guitar for the rock band Evanescence from 2003 to 2007. One of LeCompt's main collaborators is long-time friend musician Rocky Gray. They both are members of the rock bands Machina and We Are the Fallen.
Abrasive Wheels are a punk rock band of the late 1970s – early 1980s. They hailed from Leeds, England and were seldom out of the Independent charts between 1980 and 1984 when the band split. The band were Shonna Rzonca – vocals, Dave Ryan – guitar, Harry Harrison – bass, Nev Nevison – drums. In 2002 the singer Rzonca reformed the band with new members.
William Rocky Gray is a drummer and guitarist who has been part of the Arkansas metal scene since the early 1990s. He was the drummer for the rock band Evanescence from 2003-2007 and the lead guitarist for Solus Deus. He is the lead guitarist for Living Sacrifice and the drummer for Soul Embraced, Mourningside, Machina, and We Are the Fallen. Gray also released a solo album titled Accursed (2015).

William Hunt is an American drummer. He has been a member of rock band Evanescence since 2007, and has also played for Skrape, Dark New Day, Black Label Society, Vasco Rossi, Device, Crossfade, Staind, Static-X, and Slaughter.
Jackson United is an American punk rock band, formed by singer and lead guitarist Chris Shiflett in 2003. Shiflett recruited his older brother Scott Shiflett (bass) and Pete Parada (drums) to complete the band. A debut eponymous EP was recorded and released in 2003. Shortly after this release Parada left the band. He was replaced by Cary Lascala, and the group was then further expanded with the addition of a rhythm guitarist, Doug Sangalang.
"Weight of the World" is a song by American rock band Evanescence, from their second studio album, The Open Door (2006). It was released as a promotional single in October 2007 to the country of Colombia. It was written by Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo while the production was handled by Dave Fortman, and Lee wrote it about the pressure fans put on her. "Weight of the World" received positive reception from music critics, who praised the song for its heaviness. The song was added to the set list on Evanescence's The Open Door Tour (2006–07) and Evanescence Tour (2011–12).

We Are the Fallen is an American hard rock band consisting of Irish singer and former American Idol contestant Carly Smithson, guitarist Ben Moody, guitarist John LeCompt, drummer Rocky Gray, and bassist Marty O'Brien. Moody, LeCompt, and Gray are former members of American rock band Evanescence. The band's name alludes to Evanescence's 2003 album Fallen. Their debut album Tear the World Down was released in May 2010.

It was released in the United Kingdom on May 10, 2010 and the United States on May 11, 2010 under the Universal Republic record label. It includes their first single "Bury Me Alive". The album debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 33, selling 13,000 for the week. It has sold 41,000 copies as of September 2010.

The band consists of guitarists Pat Sheridan, Will Putney and Tim Howley, drummer Josean Orta, vocalist Joe Badolato, and bassist Peter "Blue" Spinazola. They are currently signed to Nuclear Blast and have released six studio albums since formation.
Mindrage was a Christian metal band from Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. The band was compared to Living Sacrifice and Soulfly in a review with another fellow Christian metal band Nailed Promise, who Mindrage did a split with. In 2002, the band broke-up. Vocalist John LeCompt went on to join Evanescence in 2003. Before forming Mindrage, Original drummer, Chad Wilburn formed Society's Finest. Second drummer Justin Carder, later joined Machina, a band that LeCompt was also in.
Every Knee Shall Bow is a Christian metal band that is currently independent. The band consists of brothers guitarists Drew and Cole, bassist Shane, and drummer DJ Wibblesman, as well as returning vocalist Chris Hull. The band's debut EP was mixed by Rocky Gray of Living Sacrifice, Evanescence, and Machina. The band was recommended in an interview with Gray and Jon Dunn of Soul Embraced about the local Arkansas metal scene. Their debut album was released on March 12, 2013. It was produced by Josh Barber.
