Sano Sansar is a 2008 Nepali romantic comedy film directed by Alok Nembang. The film has a massive star cast which includes Neer Shah and newcomers Mahesh Shakya, Jiwan Luitel and Namrata Shrestha. Sano Sansar Nembang's directorial debut and is the second Nepali HD movie made after Kagbeni. The film is heavily influenced by the Korean movie My Sassy Girl and the English-language movie You've Got Mail. In 2021, Sano Sansar was shown again in theaters after COVID-19 lockdown ended in the country, it was after 13 years of its official release date it was shown again in some of the theaters. They took this decision in order to bring back audience to the theaters, because producers were not ready to release their unreleased films in fear of losing potential audience, since they were unsure if people are ready to attend theater after long pandemic.

Chhakka Panja is a 2016 Nepalese comedy-drama film directed and produced by Deepa Shree Niraula in her directorial debut. The film features an ensemble cast of Priyanka Karki, Deepak Raj Giri, Jeetu Nepal, Kedar Ghimire, Buddhi Tamang, Shivahari Poudel, Barsha Raut and Namrata Sapkota. The film is first part of Chakka Panja series and tells the story of Raja (Giri), a rich but illiterate man and his group of friends, Ateet (Poudel), Saraswati (Nepal), Magne (Ghimire) and Buddhi (Tamang). Raja, who is devoted to the chase, gives in to family pressure and gets married, but different events unfolds in his and his friends' life that gives rise to a comedy of errors and situations. The film received highly positive reviews for its screenplay and story, performances, humour and its social setting and message. The film was an "All Time Blockbuster" at the box office, breaking several records and becoming the highest grossing Nepali film of all time, until it was overtaken by its 3rd part. However, due to piracy problems, the movie was released on YouTube. Due to the piracy, the international screening of the movie was highly affected. The film has three sequels :- Chhakka Panja 2, Chhakka Panja 3, and Chhakka Panja 4, all of which were commercial blockbusters and is the highest grossing Nepali movie franchise.
"Melancholy" is an environmentally-themed song sung by 365 Nepali artists. This song was intended to promote an environmental message by breaking the Guinness World Records for "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording", which it successfully did. It was written, music composed and directed by environmentalist Nipesh Dhaka. The song was recorded as a single on 19 May 2016. The recording sessions were inaugurated by Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli at 8 am and continued until 6 pm. The song was released on 2 September 2017 by President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Army Officer's Club, Kathmandu.
