Gaborone North is a constituency in Gaborone City represented in the National Assembly of Botswana.
The constituency was originally created in 1984, following the division of the single constituency of Gaborone and has undergone multiple changes in its size and composition. Gaborone North was a safe seat for the BNF between 1984 and 2004. In the 1989 and 1994 elections it became the constituency where the BNF won by the largest margin. [2] In 2004 it became a competitive seat between the BDP and the BNF (and later the UDC).

Kanye South was a constituency in the Southern District represented in the National Assembly of Botswana. Further to the completion of the 2022 Delimitation of Parliamentary constituencies, the seat was subjected to significant boundary changes and was replaced by Kanye West, to be first contested at the 2024 general election.
General and local elections were held in Botswana on 24 October 2014. The result was an eleventh straight victory for the Botswana Democratic Party, which won 37 of the 57 elected seats. Incumbent President Ian Khama was sworn in for a second term on 28 October.
The Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) is a centre-left to left-wing alliance of political parties in Botswana. Since the 2024 Botswana general election, the UDC has been the governing alliance of political parties.
Duma Gideon Boko is a Motswana politician and lawyer currently serving as the sixth president of Botswana since 1 November 2024 and as leader of the Umbrella for Democratic Change since 2012. He served as the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly from 2014 to 2019.

Goodhope-Mabule was a constituency in Botswana represented in the National Assembly. After the completion of the 2022 Delimitation of Parliamentary constituencies, the seat was be subject to significant boundary changes merging with Mmathethe-Molapowabojang. It was abolished and renamed Goodhope-Mmathethe, which was first contested at the 2024 general election.
