Columbus is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Ohio. With a 2020 census population of 905,748, it is the 14th-most populous city in the U.S., the second-most populous city in the Midwest, and the third-most populous U.S. state capital, after only Phoenix, Arizona and Austin, Texas. Columbus is the seat of government of Franklin County; it also extends into Delaware and Fairfield counties. It is the core city of the Columbus metropolitan area, which encompasses ten counties in central Ohio. It had a population of 2,138,926 in 2020, making it the largest metropolitan area entirely in Ohio and 32nd-largest metro area in the U.S.

Gahanna is a city situated in northeast Franklin County, Ohio, United States. It is a suburb of Columbus. The population was 35,726 at the 2020 census. It was founded in 1849.

Columbus Academy (CA) is a selective, independent college-preparatory school for students from pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade. The school is located on a large, secluded campus surrounded by wooded areas in Gahanna, Ohio, in the United States, 8 miles from downtown Columbus. The academy was founded in 1911 by J. L. Hamill near Bexley, Ohio, and moved to its current campus in 1968. Originally an all-boys school, it became coeducational in 1991 when the board of trustees decided to admit girls. From its conception, the school expanded over time to a matriculation level of 1,000 students. Columbus Academy students and alumni often refer to the school as "Academy."
The Dublin City School District, also known as Dublin City Schools, is a public school district in Ohio. It encompasses 47 square miles (120 km2), and serves most of the city of Dublin, Ohio, as well as part of the city of Columbus, and unincorporated parts of Delaware and Union Counties.
Interstate 270 (I-270) is an auxiliary interstate highway that forms a beltway loop freeway in the Columbus metropolitan area in the US state of Ohio, commonly known locally as The Outerbelt or the Jack Nicklaus Freeway. The zero-milepost is at the junction with Interstate 71 east of Grove City, intersecting with I-71 again near Worthington as well as connecting with Interstate 70 twice with the western junction near Lincoln Village and the eastern junction near Reynoldsburg. The route furthermore links to the eastern terminus of Interstate 670 near Gahanna and provides indirect access to John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The entire length of I-270 is 54.97 miles (88.47 km). It is one of four Interstate loops not to run concurrently with another Interstate freeway, the others being I-295 in Florida, I-485 in North Carolina, and I-610 in Texas.
The Olentangy Local School District is a large, rapidly growing school district centered in southern Delaware County, with a small, southern portion in Franklin County in the U.S. state of Ohio. The Olentangy Local School District comprises 95 square miles (250 km2) and serves students from all or parts of numerous municipalities, including the unincorporated community of Lewis Center and the cities of Columbus, Delaware, Powell, and Westerville. The district also serves students from Berkshire, Berlin, Concord, Genoa, Liberty, and Orange townships in Delaware and Franklin counties. As of 2020, it operates 16 elementary schools, five middle schools, and four high schools. Also, there is an online high school called OASIS for selected students at the OASIS headquarters, plus a school for STEM students.

Gahanna-Lincoln High School is a public high school in Gahanna, Ohio, United States. It is in the Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools district. It is one of the largest high schools in Greater Columbus, and was established in 1928.

Columbus City Schools, formerly known as Columbus Public Schools, is the official school district for the city of Columbus, Ohio, and serves most of the city. The district has 46,686 students enrolled, making it the largest school district in the state of Ohio as of June 2021. At its peak during the 1971 school year the district served 110,725 students.
The Ohio Capital Conference is a high school athletic conference located in Central Ohio. It comprises 34 public high schools located primarily in suburban Columbus, Ohio, encompassing Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Hocking Licking, Pickaway and Union counties. The league is geographically divided into three divisions of six teams each and two divisions of eight teams. Twenty-four schools compete in the OHSAA's Division I classification for football while ten schools compete in Division II. All conference members compete in the Central District postseason tournaments prior to the regional and state tournaments.
Walnut Hill International Leadership Academy (WHILA), formerly Walnut Hill Elementary School, is a public K-8 school in Dallas, Texas, and a part of the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). The school's previous campus was located near Walnut Hill Lane. The school has been in operation since 1912, though the building used until 2019 was constructed in 1946. Walnut Hill serves a portion of the Preston Hollow area, including parts of the "Old Preston Hollow" estate community.
Kevin Bacon is a former state senator for the 3rd District of the Ohio Senate, who served from 2011 to 2018. Formerly, he served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2007 to 2010, and as a Blendon Township Trustee. Bacon represented portions of Franklin County, including Westerville, New Albany, Gahanna, Whitehall, Reynoldsburg, Canal Winchester, Obetz, Valley View, Marble Cliff and portions of Columbus.
Columbus Global Academy, commonly referred to as CGA, is a public school located in Columbus, Ohio. It is part of the Columbus City Schools district. The school opened in 2008, but the Columbus City Schools ESL program from which it was formed was founded in 1999. Its purpose is to educate immigrant students e.g. students who are new to the U.S.
Pickerington Local School District, formerly Violet Township Schools (1905–1939), is a public school district in Ohio. It serves most of the city of Pickerington, Ohio, as well as part of the city of Columbus, Reynoldsburg, Canal Winchester and unincorporated parts of Fairfield and Franklin Counties. In the 1980s and 90s it was the fastest growing school district in Ohio over a five-year period. It is highly rated by Niche. In 2004 the district was rated excellent by the state of Ohio. It is the taxing authority for the Pickerington Public Library as well as for the school district.
LifeWise Academy is an interdenominational American educational program founded in 2018 as a free program that provides Bible education for public school students during school hours under released time laws. LifeWise Academy states that it is aligned "with historic, orthodox Christian beliefs as expressed in the Nicene Creed."
